As of twenty minutes ago, I posted my first mock draft of the offseason.  I expect it to be diescted quite a bit.  Despite it being my first attempt at a mock draft this offseason, i tore it apart over and over again.

This article is going to focus on possible free agent acquisitions that I would think to be good fits for our beloved Bolts.

Let me make this clear upfront for that one guy that can’t spell.  I’m not saying that we should sign all of these players.  The fact of the matter is that we will, most likely, only sign about three impact free agents that are not currently Chargers.  There’s a decent chance that I am over estimating when I guess the number three.  But, to heck with it.  Let’s have a little fun and run through some names that we would all like to see in San Diego in 2013.

Below I will list the names of players that I would possibly like to see added to the Chargers.  Please let me know who you have your eye on for this upcoming year.

These are just some of the options that could be used to supplement the needs that aren’t addressed in free agency during the 2013 offseason.  Did I leave anyone out that you had in mind?  Please let me know by leaving a comment below.

The Greg One can make a case for almost any big time free agent looking to take his talents to San Diego. That was until I saw a paragraph on a soon-to-be free agent Reggie Bush coming to play for the bolts.  Forget almost, I cam make no case why the Chargers would even want Reggie Bush. Bush is the disgraced Heisman Trophy winner who has caused the ruination of his alma mater, USC. Strike One. Reggie Bush has played six seasons in the NFL. He is designated as a running back but he has never run for more than 600 yards in any season. Strike Two. Even if you add  his receiving totals to his rushing he has only eclipsed 1000 yards once. Strike three. Reggie Bush is the highest paid decoy in the league. There is always the threat of a swing pass that goes to the house when Bush is on the field but even that threat has diminished as Bush has only played a full 16 game schedule once. Bush is not an every down back, he gets injured a lot and his greatest contribution has been in the return game. (more…)
