Eric Fisher Willing To Play Right Tackle. Chiefs With The First Pick?

Eric Fisher says that he is willing to play right tackle. That makes the number 1 draft pick a little more clearer for the time being. The Kansas City Chiefs have Branden Albert already at left tackle and he doesn’t want to move over to play right tackle. So, if the Chiefs want to select a tackle, they may have to move over to the right side.

“Oh yeah, I think I’m a very versatile player,” Fisher said on KCSP with Dave Parkins. “I played left tackle in college and hopefully I’ll get the opportunity to play it again, but I know there’s some great tackles in the league right now, and as a rookie if I had to come in and play right tackle I’d have no problem with that.”

Seems a little high to select a right tackle in the draft, but the Chiefs might make that move. We are a little over a week away from the draft and we still have no clue who will be the first selection in the draft.

Chargers fans are still hoping that the Chiefs pass on any tackle in the draft, so that one could possibly fall in our laps. We need to fix up that offensive line or we

OT Eric Winston Visited the Chargers This Weekend

It looks like the San Diego Chargers are interested in OT Eric Winston. According to Adam Schefter, Winston visited the Chargers over the weekend.

Winston plays right tackle and could be brought in as a possible replacement for Jeromey Clary. We know how much of a fan favorite Clary is. Winston comes from the zone blocking scheme that it seems that the Chargers are gearing up for. He helped pave the way for Arian Foster in Houston and could help Ryan Mathews get some running room.

Winston joined Kansas City last season, but he didn’t fit into Andy Reid’s plans. The Chiefs own the top draft pick this year and will probably take a tackle.

This is a name we actually know. I’m sure Telesco has seen a lot of him while they were in the same division. Winston would be nice, but still doesn’t fix the guard and left tackle position.

The Kansas City Chiefs are busy, busy, busy at the start of the offseason. Now they have signed CB Dunta Robinson to a 3-year deal to help out in their secondary.

Robinson will likely be the starter going into camp alongside Brandon Flowers in the secondary. The Chiefs also have Pro Bowl safety Eric Berry as part of that secondary.

Andy Reid is up to his normal tricks of bringing along big names. He did the same thing while he was with the Philadelphia Eagles. The question is, will he be able to get them all to work together as a team?
