North Carolina OG Jonathan Cooper is starting to pickup more buzz at the NFL combine. Mike Mayock says that he has a big butt (and he cannot lie). Big butts are good for o-lineman though. Mayock also said that there isn’t much of a difference between Cooper and his top prospect in the draft Chance Warmack. They both are outstanding.

Cooper has been impressive in the combines showing off his athleticism. He put up 35 reps in the bench press yesterday and the he just ran a 5.13 40yd, 1.73 10yd. This could be the San Diego Chargers guy at pick 11.

When the San Diego Chargers are on the clock in April, it would be awesome for this kid and a few pther big names to be available. Cooper would be a starter immediately on our team. We have needed help at the left guard position and Cooper would be a nice piece to add to the o-line. He isn’t the left tackle that we all want, but he might be the most talented player available.
