Mark Fabiani has to put out the fire of the rumored sale:

At this moment, no sale of the minority interest in the team is imminent. And if a sale is made, it would be made public and the new owner would be required to go through the NFL approval process. – Mark Fabiani

Is this just an attempt to save face with the city of San Diego? I am sure that the owners would not want the fans to think that the Bolts are just a lame duck team here. The fans would just stop heading out to the stadium.

There is some hope that the Chargers may stay in San Diego. Ed Roski is shopping for NFL teams also and he is having discussions with the Minnesota Vikings. If he is able to get a share of the Vikings, then the Vikings would seem to be the team to move to LA. Roski has a proposal to build a stadium in the Los Angeles area as well. I wouldn’t think that LA would allow both Roski and AEG to build their stadiums. Minnesota already sports the Purple colors and they already had lost the Lakers to the city of Los Angeles.

PLEASE TAKE MINNESOTA INSTEAD!!
