The Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns are two teams that have reached out to Antoine Cason’s reps, per Mary Kay Cabot. I feel like Norv Turner is doing this stuff just to mess with our heads! We will be haunted forever by the Norvous one. I also feel that the Lions want to sign everyone I want to bring to the Chargers. Could they be like the Tampa Bay Bucs last season?

The Detroit Lions have released troubled WR Titus Young. Young has had a butt-ton of disciplinary problems with the team and finally the Lions have decided to cut ties with the kid today. Young was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2011 draft out of Boise State. He will go through waivers and any team can put in a claim on him. If he clears waivers, he will be a free agent and available to sign anywhere.

Titus Young has talent, but he has been a bad apple. Some team will give him a shot at playing again and he will have to be on good behavior or he will find himself on the street again.

Wonder if the Chargers will take a chance on players like this with a new general manager and coach on board? The old regime would never take a chance on players with this type of character issues, but could the new regime take some chances?

The Chargers could use some help at receiver. Danario Alexander will likely be back, but he has had a history of injury problems. Malcom Floyd also has been an injury prone receiver. Vincent Brown is coming back from an injury and Robert Meachem was a ghost last season.

It wouldn’t hurt to take a chance on Titus Young to see if he can cut it in training camp and during the preseason. If he fails to keep disciplined, then you drop him to the curb again. I would take the chance. The goal this offseason is to get Philip Rivers as much help as possible, Young could be a piece that we could use.

I have been running around like a madman today. its been an awesome Thanksgiving and I finally was able to start posting again. Started out the morning with some flag football and then had some mad turkey and missed all the football today. I get home and found out that Ndamukong Suh kicked Matt Scaub in the balls. Welp, should I expect anything less of him? Just seems like something Suh would do.
