Twas the night before Monday and all through Chargers Park,

All the coaches were moving not one was hardly at work.

All the jerseys were hung in the players lockers with care,

With hopes that the Lombardi Trophy would soon be theirs.

Ingram’s eyes peeled wide open while he rests in his bed,

Knowing Quarterback soup is what he’ll be fed!

Norv with his clipboard and Pagano dressed in his best,

Knew it was time to put this crap about the Bolts to rest.

When up on Philip’s roof there arose such a clatter,

Philip sprung up and grabbed for his ladder.

He climbed quickly to see if there was anything he could do,

When, “BAM!” It was the ghost of Johnny U standing there in his powder blues.

“I know last year you happened to blow,”

“What do I do Johnny?” Rivers let out with a bellow.

When all of a sudden a playbook appeared,

That part read, “Trust yourself, and your teammates, and you won’t shed a tear!”

Dean Spanos the owner all ready to cheer,

Couldn’t wait, he had nothing to fear.

Spanos knew that the Raiders didn’t know what was coming,

As he closed his eyes to picture him yelling!

“On Norv, on Pagano, on Smith! Let’s go for it all!

On Rivers, on Ingram, on Gates, on top of them all!

Now take the lead, build a lead, as Malcom is tall!”

Dean flew to his limo, his team ready to fight,

Wait Dean someone needs to tell him, IT’S ONLY SUNDAY NIGHT!

As he left I heard him yell before he was out of sight,

NO ONE IS MORE READY THEN ME FOR MONDAY NIGHT!!!!!!

A couple of architects, Pauly De Bartolo and Ivan Rimanic, decided to draw up a design for a potential stadium in San Diego. They designed the stadium without any financial backing, but to inspire a new stadium in San Diego (and probably to get some notice from the San Diego public).

We feel we have an idea that will inspire San Diego to embrace a stadium downtown,” – Pauly De Bartolo

It’s nice to see the designs, but it really means nothing until we actually have a plan to keep the Bolts in town and a stadium is built up.

Yesterday, San Diego Chargers owner Dean Spanos met up with Mayor Jerry Sanders to talk about the stadium. Nice to know that they are communicating.

Rapid Reports exclusive: The Spanos family is no longer actively seeking a buyer for Alex Spanos’ 35 percent minority share of the team, according to Mark Fabiani, who is special counsel to Chargers’ president Dean Spanos. The decision not to seek a buyer at this time is in large part due to the two-year extension of the Bush tax cuts – CBS Rapid Reports

What does this mean? Does this mean that we are not moving to Los Angeles?

It sounds like AEG and their group are not able to buy part of the Chargers at this time and move them to Los Angeles. If the Chargers move to LA, it would be Dean Spanos’ decision.

I wish San Diego could just build a new stadium and keep the Chargers around!
