The Chargers and famous for many things, one of which is the uncanny ability to find undrafted talent. This years talent pool is not shallow by any means either. Each year, pro-bowl caliber talent goes unseen. In 2010 there were 2 undrafted names that stood out to football fans and both were at the running back position. RB’s Arian Foster and LaGarrette Blount both led their teams as well as the league in rushing.

The Chargers have a few holes in roster still left to fill and we will more than likely be bringing in a large pool of undrafted free agents to compete in camp for roster spots. I’d just like to point out 2 positions in which I think are very deep at UFA’s right now and which 3 prospects from each position I feel would fit the Chargers needs most adequately. Still baffled by Jordan Todman’s sixth round selection? You’re not alone. First though, Todman really is happy to be going to San Diego. I talked to JT’s agent with Athlete’s First, Brian Murphy today but I also talked to Todman’s legal guardian, Steve Cruz, and Cruz said after the Combine workouts Todman mentioned to him that San Diego was one of his favorite destinations to play.
