We don’t even have that much cap room available right now.

Hopefully the price tags on these left tackles start to fall. Time to look in a different direction, Andre Smith and Jake Long are looking for big time deals. I wonder what Kansas City Chiefs LT Branden Albert will be looking for in a deal.

The San Diego Chargers have expressed interest in Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer, according to Kevin Acee. An interview has not been set ufor him just yet, but hopefully the announcement of a new GM will speed up that process.

Zimmer has been in the league for 18 years and he has had his defense with the Bengals finish in the top 10 for three of his four seasons. He has worked with the Dallas Cowboys and the Atlanta Falcons before landing with the Bengals.

The Cleveland Browns are also interested in his services for their head coaching vacancy. They have an interview already set up with him.

He has run a 4-3 defense and also has run a 3-4 defense. If Zimmer is hired, the status of John Pagano will be up in the air. The status of John Pagano shouldn’t hinder hiring a head coach. Find a good head coach and let him fill his staff with studs. If he likes Pagano, then let him stick around also.

I know this is not Chargers news, but this is one of the most popular/hated football players of the century. Chad Ochocinco was just released by the New England Patriots and this could be the end of his career.

He did nothing with Tom Brady as his quarterback and he might not have anything left in the tank. The Raiders are still in the league and there is always a chance that they take a chance on a name. I don’t care if they are under new management or not, they are still the Raiders!

Nobody say Chad to the Chargers!
