Raiders QB Carson Palmer Will Miss Chargers Game With Cracked Ribs

The Oakland Raiders will be without their starting QB Carson Palmer for the season finale against the San Diego Chargers due to cracked ribs and a bruised lung. Palmer suffered the injury in the first quarter against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. With Palmer sidelined, the Raiders will turn to Matt Leinart and Terrelle Pryor at quarterback. The Chargers are coming off of a game in which they sacked backup QB Greg McElroy 11 times. That could have been Palmer’s last game as a Raider.

Terrell Owens and Drew Brees are in town working out. Carson Palmer and Kyle Boller also are out there working out too. That could be a fun workout to watch, too bad the exact location was not given.

Since TO is working out with Carson, could we see them team up again in Oakland? I sure hope so! It is always nice to add a little more drama onto a division rival and watch them implode! TO is still trying to hook up with a team and now we can start/continue rumors involving the Saints and Raiders.

Unfortunately, it is that time of the year that playing catch makes news! Can the season start already?!

Another title: Carson Palmer puts his foot in his mouth.

According to Palmer, the Raiders will be more than just a playoff team this season.

In a recent interview, he says it’s their division to win.

He says they are closer to being a championship team.

Hold on, I’m choking.

My dog is going to sprout wings any minute.

Is that hell freezing over?

I swear that’s a pink elephant walking down the street.

Is that the moon turning blue?

Hold on, there’s a pig flying outside my window.

I think it will snow here say mid August.

I saw a chicken with teeth the other day.

My fish climbed our tree today.

You get the idea right?

Not only did they have to wait until the 3rd round until their pick came up, their whole draft was weak, borderline questionable.

Of course Palmer is going to say that.

What else is he supposed to say?

I know my team sucks and we’re not even close to being a playoff team.

We had weak draft picks and the whole team from top to bottom is in disarray.

He’s not gonna say that.

He might think it, but he definitely won’t say it.

But it’s true.
