This Sunday the Chargers will be traveling to Cleveland for a matchup with the Browns. So myself and fellow BoltBeat.com staff writer, Dan Locke, have decided to join them.

Dan will be driving from Illinois and I’ll be heading from my home here in Charlotte. We are then going to meet up and party down in the Dawg Pound.

When the 2012 NFL schedule was released, I had no clue how important this game would end up being for the Bolts. Well it has become very important after two second half meltdowns in a row. The Chargers need to find a way to gain momentum coming off their bye week.. I think a beatdown of the Browns could get us started off on the right foot and get Uncle Mo on our side.

The team currently has a 3-3 record and is now tied with Denver for first place. Don’t tell the media that, by the way. The Broncos have already won the division in most experts’ minds.

Going to any NFL game is a great experience but getting to see the Chargers play is the best. I’m always excited to watch them play but even more stoked that I have the chance to meet another BoltBeat writer.

Initially my wife and I were going to go but now she has family coming into town. I decided what the heck I’ll go by myself and meet up with some Charger faithful. Last night, while in class (ahem), Dan tweeted out that he was thinking about road tripping it to the game and asked if anyone was going. Jackpot!

Dan and I will be meeting up at the game and he got us some pretty darn good seats. I’m sure that we’ll both have multiple articles that come from this trip. I would also guess that there will be a good amount of tweets from both of us.

As soon as I’m done with this article I’ll be tweeting Annie Heilbrunn of the San Diego Union Tribune and asking her if we can steal a quick second on ”Out and About.” Why not, right? It would be cool to meet her and be in a video with her.

If any of you will be attending the game in Cleveland and want to meet up, send me an email to boogapeters@yahoo.com or tweet me @BoogaP.

Hope to meet as many of you as possible.

Thanks a lot for reading.

Several media outlets are reporting that Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler will be traded out of Denver.

From Yahoo! Sports:

Broncos owner Pat Bowlen said that the team came to the decision after both he and head coach Josh McDaniels tried unsuccessfully to reach Cutler.

“Numerous attempts to contact Jay Cutler in the last 10 days, both by head coach Josh McDaniels and myself, have been unsuccessful,” Bowlen said. “A conversation with his agent earlier [Tuesday] clearly communicated and confirmed to us that Jay no longer has any desire to play for the Denver Broncos. We will begin discussions with other teams in an effort to accommodate his request to be traded.”

It goes without saying that Jay Cutler will be out of the AFC West, which is only good news for the Chargers.

New head coach Josh McDaniels and Cutler are both equally idiotic in this situation and the team is going to suffer because of it. The Broncos will not be better without Jay Cutler.

Listening to Mad Dog Radio on XM today, Andy Gresh was tossing out scenarios for a then possible trade for Cutler. One was the Buffalo Bills sending Trent Edwards and a #1 draft pick to Denver for Cutler. Might make sense.

Nevertheless, there is a short list of teams where Cutler could land. If not Buffalo, I’d imagine he ends up with the Jets or Browns. Either way, don’t care that much.

It’s just nice to say, so long Jay.
