Eric Weddle rips Warren Sapp

Eric Weddle burned Warren Sapp on twitter with this tweet.

Oh Eric don’t hurt him! That is a deep burn!

I wouldn’t expect Eric Weddle to kick a man while he was down, but he sure got Warren Sapp on this one. He got the last laugh.

If you didn’t hear the story about Warren over Super Bowl weekend, he was arrested for trying to pick up a hooker. Turns out that hooker was a cop! OOPS.

Since he was fired from his job with the NFL Network. Not a good look for Warren.

Eric has a little beef with Warren. Back in the day when Eric first signed his big time contract with the Chargers, the reporters were talking smack about it. One of those “reporters” was Warren Sapp. Sapp went onto twitter and said that the Chargers were giving a ton of dough to a safety that we couldn’t pick out of a line-up.

OUCH.

Eric has used that for motivation for all this time and posted this tweet — or at least his beard posted the tweet.

DAMMMMNNN!

Eric had already been proving his value with his play on the field. He has become one of the top safeties in the game since signing that deal. He has been to the Pro Bowl 3 times since signing the deal and has been selected to the First-team All-Pro a pair of times. He led the league in interceptions in the first season with that contract. He is one of the best. He has truly stood out on the field with his play.

He has also grown out a trademark beard that everyone recognizes him by. People will know who he is when he stands in that lineup.

At the time of his deal, there were a lot of people that doubted that the team was putting the money in the right place. It seemed like a lot of money that the team was sending in that direction for someone that had not produced. The team made the right decision and Eric has made it all pay off.

Warren on the other hand has now been fired from his chill NFL analyst job and his reputation has a little tarnish on it. Plus his family must think that he is straight stupid.

Eric gets the last laugh on this one. Love that he used that as motivation for all this time.
