Chargers 38, 49ers 35: First Step To The Big Show

What a game for the San Diego Chargers. Remember what I said about the Bolts having a chance for the big show? Well get ready folks, it’s going to be a crazy ride.

There is so much to say, let’s start with the game.

Talk about starting off terribly, the 49ers and Frank Gore had their way with Eric Weddle and the defense. Gore put up over 130 yards on the ground in the first half alone, and while the defense was getting stomped Philip Rivers was just throwing interceptions.

Ugly right? Well, the Chargers picked it up and it wasn’t only Antonio Gates, or Philip Rivers, or Eric Weddle that saved the game. Put your hands up for DONTRELLE INMAN! I have been waiting for this moment FOR SO LONG. The coaching staff were so foolish not getting number 15 in the game as much as possible, even after the amazing pre-season he enjoyed.

There it is folks. The Chargers came back from a 21 point deficit, then fell behind again after a Colin Kaepernick 90 yard TD run but Rivers took charge of the team and commanded his offfense for the win.

This team is alive folks. If the defense can regain their form and learn to be consistent in their games, I think this offense is back after number 17 just threw for 4 TD’s. Dontrelle Inman…..Well there’s plenty more where that came from.

By the way, isn’t this CRAZY? Last week it was the Chargers and Chiefs who played in the final game of the regular season to determine if the Bolts go to the playoffs. It may happen again.
