San Diego Chargers 3 point underdogs against Cardinals

The San Diego Chargers open up the season on the road against the Arizona Cardinals and their tough defense as 3 point underdogs, per Kent Somers. The Cardinals had a strong team last season, but they were unable to crack the playoffs even though the had 10 wins.

This is a winnable game for the Chargers and with the season in the infant stages we are all unsure on what to expect out of each team. Will the Cardinals collapse this season after their fine year last season? Will the Chargers collapse? There are a number of question marks that need to be answered and the people in Vegas are playing it safe with this prediction by taking the home team by 3 points.

The Chargers will walk away with this week 1 win against the Cardinals. The oddsmakers will quickly find out that the Chargers will be a team that needs to be respected.

Even after the win against the Cardinals, the Chargers will likely start out week 2 as home underdogs when we face the Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks. The start of the season will be tough, but will give the team a better understanding on how they stand against some of the better competition in the league.
