Chargers Sign CB Lowell Rose

The San Diego Chargers have signed 6’1, 192 pound CB Lowell Rose to the training camp roster.

Rose spent time with the San Francisco 49ers and New York Jets last season but did not appear in any regular season games.

Coming out of Tulsa, he is still a young prospect at 24 years old. According to Eric D Williams of ESPN he finished with 113 tackles, 21 pass breakups and three interceptions in his college career. Rose was an honorable mention All-Conference USA selection his senior year.

It’s not an eye raising pick-up, given that the Bolts now have 11 cornerbacks now, but Rose has size and seems as if he may be a diamond in the rough.
