Clearing Up the Confusion: Starting Corners In Day One Of Training Camp

As I have already told some people this, Jason Verrett and Richard Marshall were NOT starting in day one of training camp.

First of all, let me just say that this is not a big deal in any way shape or form. I just thought the Bolt Fam had the right to know as I spoke to several sources on my Twitter and I read some extra articles just to make sure (I WISH I COULD BE AT TRAINING CAMP MYSELF!!!).

Clearing Up The Confusion:

  • Only in the Walk-Through part of the practice, Verrett and Marshall just jumped in the starting spots
  • In the real 11 vs 11 drill, Brandon Flowers worked with the first unit at left cornerback while Shareece Wright worked with the first unit at right cornerback
  • Richard Marshall and Jason Verrett were working with the second unit.

Personally, I would’ve liked to see Wright and Marshall start out as starters and have Verrett and Flowers work their way up. What does the BoltFam think?
