No news is good news for Malcom Floyd

There has not been a lot of chatter about Malcom Floyd lately. That has to be a good thing. He worked with the rest of the team during the offseason program and had no setbacks. The next test will come in training camp, when he will get hit a little more often. Then comes the preseason when other teams will start hitting him. He is going to take a few big hits. We will be waiting to see how he responds to them.

Running around with the rest of the team, he has not had any struggles. If he is able to come back to the field without any fear, then we will have a solid group of receivers. It will be nice to see another receiver on the roster that can open up the field.

It is going to be fun seeing Keenan Allen and Malcom Floyd running routes at the same time on offense. Eddie Royal will kill it in the slot and Vincent Brown will get chances to make plays. The group shapes up well if they are able to stay healthy.

Having Malcom on the field will give Philip Rivers comfort in his weapons on offense. He already had a lot of trust throwing the football to Malcom. He gained a lot of trust out of Allen last season. The combination should be making plays all over the field. It will be fun to see.

Heard Vincent Brown has been killing it.
I mean it was technically his first full season with actual playing time.

If Vincent Brown improves and we get the old Malcom back…lookout.

I really hope V. Brown proves me wrong this year cuz I don’t have confidence in him! It pains me to say that but I really want to see what Resse can do in the slot. I just have a good feeling that he will explode in his rookie year if given the chance.

    Lethal.

Keenan, M80,Gates, Greene,Matthews,D. Brown, Woodhead, and now an improved Defense with maybe Flowers,Wright,Addae and Weddle as our secondary, and Freeney,Ingraham,Attachou with a solid group of NT’s, Man, I can’t wait to see what we can do!!!!

It will be like old times if M80 is back in full swing. Just imagine the damage Allen will do when teams are paying more attention to the other side of the field. I can see Allen surpassing 1500 yards this year!!

How is v. Brown looking so far?. Heard a few stories saying he’s gonna have a break out year… And what’s the deal with Flowers????

    • John Alton

According to the media he is supposed to make a decision sometime this week.
