Jason Verrett working in individual drills for first time

Jason Verrett has been sitting on the sideline during OTAs, but today he was able to join the team for individual drills for the first time according to Eric Williams.

Nice to see the youngster get on the field to get some work in. It has to be frustrating sitting on the sideline watching his teammates put in work while he is resting the shoulder.

Verrett will be a big playmaker for the team, so they want him to get on the field and get up to speed as soon as they can. They just have to make sure that he doesn’t get onto the field too quickly and hurt his shoulder even more.

Verrett is putting in work and getting prepped for the season. Can’t wait to see him on the field with the rest of the team making plays for the defense.

Let’s take this slow & steady. I’m sure the docs & PT specialists are watching him like a hawk. We need this youngster at 100% for opening day, so there’s no need to rush it & injure the now healing area. Go Bolts!

Hope its not another wasted first round pick on a corner as far as a playmaker I dont know if you can say that yet im rooting for the kid but Eric weddle said it best that was college this is the pros everything u did in college doesn’t matter anymore its what u do here now he still has to prove himself before we can call him a playmaker he has the skills to be but Will he transition to the pros only time can tell

Watch the film, best corner in his class pound for pound! I jumped for joy when we got him. He’s an absolute stud. His shoulder won’t be a problem come September.
