Morning Dump: San Diego Chargers News Around the Web

I may be back home, but I still have so many more photos to share from the trip. Up there is Alcatraz… No real long story about that, but you definitely should get out on that tour.

To the dump:

Good ol’ Charlie Whitehurst lost his number with the Tennessee Titans already. He lost it in an arm wrestling match. What quarterback gets in an arm wrestling match?

Eddie Royal shared his thoughts on having Malcom Floyd back on the field:

D.J. Fluker is losing some trust in some of his friends. Sounds like some people are looking to dip into the kid’s cash flow:

Malcom Floyd is ready to get hit, but the team is not ready to see it or deliver any to him yet:

And there were a few players that were not in attendance for the first day of OTAs.

Ernie: On your earlier morning dump (yesterday), I went and looked at the article writing about who would take a step backwards this year. I know in my heart, it is coming, but it’s still sad to know that pretty soon Antonio is going to retire. I hate to see him getting shoved out, though. He’s been a part of the Charger family for a long time. I hope they are not thinking of canning him this year. Maybe he is deciding to retire this year. I don’t know.

They also predicted Drew Brees would take a slide this year as he is getting older. Geez, it still feels bad somehow. About killed me when LT left and cried so hard.

i dont think that he will be retiring or forced out this season. He likely will have to step back on some snaps during the season. It will be interesting to see what happens with him in the offseason though. He will be due a lot of money and it will be his last season on the contract.
