I just went through the Chargers pics on the site that they posted for Phase II of the offseason program and saw some pics of a player that we all are interested in seeing his progress.

Check out Malcom Floyd:

It is good to see him getting involved in the activities. He is getting closer and closer to getting onto the field. The progress is looking good.

He still has to take a hit, but there is some time until he has to endure that. He is working to get on the field and is making progress. He wants to be out there and his work this offseason is making me believe more and more that he will be on the field during the first game of the year.

I like seeing back on the field and catching passes. I wasn’t sure at what the capacity of his word was at this point, but seeing him working out and playing catch is more than I had already expected.

I was happy to see those flicks as well . It’s really good to see him catching passes .

Imagine a healthy M80 as our #3 or #4 WR that would deadly near the goal line.

      would be amazing

If the guy can play, he’s starting no question, the only reason he wouldn’t start is if they took a stud WR in the first, and even then I would think Floyd would start because of experience.

They have to use Green a whole lot more in the red zone, I have never thought Gates was particularly good at catching balls over his head, and can’t remember much success with fades throws and him.

    Keep on charging Malcom!

Wow great news. If I remember correctly he wasn’t allowed to cut and run routes about a month or so ago. Great step forward. He’s got 4 months of working out and getting reacclimated to take a hit before kickoff. I think he can come back nearly as late as Ingram did last year so make that 7 months. Though they’d rather see him able to take contact in training camp or preseason first.

I’m in no hurry to put him back on the field. I want Malcom to come back at 100% no matter when that is. This great to see, and encouraging for his health.

P.S. I cruised through the photos from the voluntary workouts. To me it’s a good indicator of who’s committed, to being sold out.

Man I hope this goes well for him… Cause we sure could use him…
