      ^This.
Maybe people don’t understand, no matter how much money Spanos has, San Diego is a “Host City” to the NFL. Key being here is “Host”, JMS was built with Tax Payer money. It’s now Time to build a new Stadium for our “guest”.

It’s funny how everybody was talking about don’t raise taxes , no tax money . And now that the chargers have a plan to put some land to good use to generate more money for the city , people are still against it . They get the no tax wish no cash from the city wish , and people still against it . I Really hope people see the big picture when it when it’s time to vote and I’m sure they will with the millions of dollars that Spanos family is going to dish out on ads and campaigning .

I agree. The issue is their is a minority of people that are making the most noise against it. And it seems they are dead set against any new sports venue from being built. the truth is, they’ve expanded the convention center, twice, and nobody seemed to raise an eyebrow. TWO Stadiums could’ve been built with money they are spending on the latest expansion.
