If you have been following my NFL Mock drafts in the past, you will know that I will grab hold of some sites prospects rankings and make my selections based on who would be available with the Chargers selection. This week I used CBS Sports again since they seem to update their rankings often.

You can take a look at their rankings and see what players you would take in each round of the draft. Here is how the draft played out this week.

I like this one alot more then last weeks, Really hope we get Van Noy.

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

i actually love this one. we get 3 players at the top that could just kill it for us this season. the other guys that we picked up could help in the future

  • Rob Base

That would be SICK!!!! I like it ALOT!! First 3 picks all starters! 2 corners wow good job Ernie I like your style!!

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

i seriously would be thinking that we would move up to the next level with a draft like this

      • Rob Base

Ya it would I’m all fired up now lol

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

amazingly, i chose richardson over one of my favorites, landry.

  • Arthur Rose III

    LOVE IT!

  • BlueBoltFan

I like it. Wouldn’t be a bad draft at all.

  • gpack17

i like the 1st 4 rounds…7 kinda seems unlikely…i still think thomas may go in around the 6th round..

  • tubbs45

Love it. I think we get our real long term NT next year.

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

if we still have the same d.coordinator

  • chargersfanfromswitzerland

would be so so so so so stoked!!!!!!

  • Eli Rodriguez

I love this Draft. The only pick I didn’t like is Richardson. I’m not a big fan of him. He seems too skinny to play in the NFL. But the value of getting him in the 3rd is good. I would still rather have another WR

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

      Landry or Richardson?

      • Eli Rodriguez

I like Landry hands. He makes some amazing catches. I don’t think TT will Draft him though because he wants speed. I’m not sure what his 40 time was but wasn’t he hurt at the combine?

        • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

he was hurt… but this guy’s production shouldn’t go under the radar… hands and route running so good. brings really good blocking to the table as well.. not sure if the speed matters that much with this selection

          • Eli Rodriguez

TT said he wants to get faster on offense and defense. I wanted his interview and he said that he production on the field is a main thing he looks for and Landry was productive. I would like the selection of Landry over Richardson. I also like Josh Huff a lot aswell. What do you think of him?

        • Diegoblue

          4.77 I believe

      • Eli Rodriguez

        Landry hands down

      • SDmarm17

Ellington in the third if he were still available.

        • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

Is rather have Landry or Richardson over Ellington

          • SDmarm17

Posey convinced me on Ellington. He’s short, but he’s fast and quick. He fits great into our scheme. Definitely would be a great YAC kinda guy. He’s explosive with a 39 inch vertical, so he can go up and get it, he can also burn corners, he’s great in space can make people miss AND can return kicks for us. Hopefully Inman, Tutu, or Brown step it up (hell all three of them would be amazing) and then Ellington can man the slot next year. As often as Royal is injured he could probably take over halfway through this season anyway.

      • Diegoblue

        Richardson ..

  • Derek

If this came true I’d have to get me a telesco jersey made.

  • Marcel West-Bailey

    This draft is juicy

  • Daniel Sutter

That would be a godly draft!

  • SDmarm17

    NFL.com four round mock..
    1. Bradley Roby CB
    2. Louis Nix III DT
    3. Bruce Ellington WR
    4. Adrian Hubbard OLB

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

      I like

    • Diegoblue

Wouldn’t be mad at this draft at all .. Very good

    • Sergio Quintero

Supposedly the chargers are amongst the most picky in terms of work ethic and character flaws, Hubbard has gotten pretty much blackballed by the Bama staff so I can’t see that one.

The rest of the draft I’m perfectly fine, as I said Nix is looking more probable in the 2nd round than in the first.

  • powderBLUE801

The best mock I have seen this year. I love it!!!

  • Ryan

You all are way too low on Robert Herron. Way better than Richardson Ellington and Landry. So underrated which I love cuz I know telesco has an eye on him

    • Diegoblue

Robert Herron is very good but way better than Richardson ?? I don’t know about that

  • Diegoblue

    Some good picks Ernie.. Fanspeak.com?

  • Nick Mansoor

I hope Kyle Van Noy falls to 57, he is prolly gonna fall late 1st to early 2nd

    • Diegoblue

We would be lucky as hell if that happened but you never know

  • Jacob911

Round 1 (25) Kyle Fuller (Virginia Tech) Cornerback

Round 2 (57) Jeremiah Attaochu (Georgia Tech) Linebacker

3rd round (89) Ego Ferguson Nose Tackle (LSU)

4th round (125) Brandon Coleman Wide Receiver (Rutgers)

4th round trade up (128 Carolina) Keith McGill Cornerback (Utah Utes) no 6th round (201) or 5th round (165)

    7th round (217) Brandon Thomas G (Clemson)

    • Gunnar Martin

That’s a dang good mock draft right there. Might switch the round where a couple players are taken, but I would be very happy with those guys.

      • Jacob911

Yea I was thinking McCullers instead too

        • Gunnar Martin

Mm nope, it was good the first time. Really not a fan of McCullers. I like Ego just where he is.

          • Jacob911

Yea basically best nt availible I was just going by what some analysts said

          • Gunnar Martin

Gotcha. I am, however, a really big fan of Justin Ellis and Zach Kerr. They could do so much for our defense.

          • Jacob911

Yup i think Ellis can be something special underlooked because a smaller school

  • Sergio Quintero

Love the draft Ernie, in particular 1-5, I don’t know Linsley all that much so time to do some homework

    Minor gripes:
    - I can’t see Thomas making it to the 7th round, especially now that the boys at Path to the Draft were assigning him to the chargers in the 3rd, lets go happy middle and say that Thomas & Colvin go in 4-5 range.
    - Ernie where is the Kick returner, the chargers need somewhere better than last year, they were bad.

  • Marcel West-Bailey

Swap Puifoy for someone else and I’m good

    • Sergio Quintero

I might like a high ceilling guy ahead of Purefoy, Aikens from Liberty??

      • Marcel West-Bailey

I actually haven’t heard of him. I’ll take a look at his tape. A player I was looking at is Dontae Johnson. He needs work but if we can get him late I think he could help.

  • OGsnakes1322

We need a big man in the middle of the Dee Fence of line!!!! Louis Nix III DT

This man will make are Dee Fence way better and it will make every one in the back field better!!!!

We don’t need a high pick in the corners or safety if we get Louis Nix in the first round…
Everything Else will fall in place.

  • Alter Ego

In my mind…I would like us to go all defense with the first four picks. Fuller and Van Noy are great gets…thrilled.
Our offense will be dynamic and imposing with our scheme and talent we have now – the chance to select four defensive standouts is a rare opportunity for us in this loaded draft. Because of the wealth of offensive players that will attract offensively challenged teams – value of sliding defensive playmakers becomes Christmas morning for the Bolts with huge dividends for our team.
I really hope it plays out that way.
Excellent mock Ernie…it could absolutely be spot on.
