Chargers Draft Order Set After Compensatory Picks Assigned

With all the compensatory selections handed out to the rest of the league, the Chargers know what number selection they have for each round now. Here are the selections that they have in the draft:

Round 1 – 25th overall
Round 2 – 57th overall
Round 3 – 89th overall
Round 4 – 125th overall
Round 5 -165th overall
Round 6 – 201st overall
Round 7 – 240th overall

When you head over to the big boards that are on the websites, you can take a look at the different players that might be available with the 57th overall selection or the 125th overall selection.

We have 7 picks in the draft and Tom Telesco will need to bring some talent onto the roster. We need some playmakers from this draft in the secondary. Expect the Chargers to go hard after certain positions in this draft.

    25th in each round

  • BlueBoltFan

The one cool thing about the 1st round for us this year: as long as we don’t draft a QB, RB, kicker, or TE ANY pick is pretty much a good one…including trading down.

  • Derek

We are going to need to trade up or down to compensate for the usual bunch getting compensatory help

    • Brett M

I wouldn’t mind shopping our 1st pick to those that think the browns will take Carr or another second tier qb at 26

      • Derek

Only for an early 2nd rd or later 1st got a feeling after fuller the cb skill drop off is steep we could still find a diamond in the rough but the probability would be slim. Shereece played outside I’m college and he needed those first 2-3 yrs

Only trade up for gilbert or khalil mack or anthoy barr

      • Derek

mack looks too much like english to me yeah english was an undersized end but everything else matching up makes me nervous. chargers went in the film room with barr so they know if he has the smarts to be a lb or just a fast guy. id trade up for gilbert though using next yrs picks we cant afford to use this yrs nfl comp picks never seem to float our way.

  • yourmom
