Can the San Diego Chargers build a “dynasty”?
Bolts from the Blue
The Chargers need a young core of elite players. It is very trendy in the NFL right now to follow the Seahawks’ model, and rightly so. They have a great group of young players and snappy new uniforms designed, evidently, by the dyslexic brother of the

After looking at the figures and info on the DeSean Jackson trade it sound perfect. A third round pick and restructure the salary so it won’t affect the cap salary available. next year we have about $10m plus free after the 3 dead money guys we cut this year and last year. Plus cutting Clary we can free up more money, so we can afford him this year and next.

NINERS are interested in him, they have more too offer as in Draft Picks…but it would be nice if somehow the Chargers could land him.

    • 619chargers4life

Yeah were somewhere around 50 million under for next year .

desean looks nice now but what happened to him the previous yrs? he isnt a contested catcher. phillip doesnt throw like vick. he’s closer to brees he’ll put the ball there but you have to snatch it before the db does. plus with the wr depth this draft no way this happens. a team might bite after they dont get who they wanted via draft.

For that trade and cap figures I’d rather pursue Josh Gordon. Know we talked about that in the past but it would be just like TT and wait till the dust settles and the chatter stops then drop the hammer on something like this

Anybody interested in trading for the Rams #2 Pick lol? They most likely want a ton back.

    • Derek

for who?? this draft is too deep for that

      • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

Just making conversation duder, I wouldn’t actually want to do that plus with us building through the draft we couldn’t give all out picks away for 1 guy.

        • Derek

whoops totally glossed over the lol in your first post
