Chargers Sign Former Colts LB Kavell Conner

The San Diego Chargers added some depth on the defensive side of the ball by signing Kavell Conner from the Indianapolis Colts, per Michael Gehlken. Conner will be depth at the middle linebacker spot. We didn’t have much roster depth at the position last season and when Manti Te’o went down with an injury in the playoffs, the team had to rely on Bront Bird to start.

Conner is not a spectacular name, but he is depth at the position. Donald Butler has had issues with injuries in the past and Conner will be able to help the team if he goes down.

Conner also will be able to help the team in special teams. He has starting experience and Tom Telesco knows him well from his experience with the Colts.

Tom Telesco loves to dip in that bag of tricks for some talent. He knows those players the best and he is going to bring in the guys that can help this roster. He is going to have to find some other players somewhere though.

    Another ex-Colt! Great.

    • Stefanie Smith

That was me up there and I tried to delete it and it comes out just as guest.

  • Trey P

Are We turning into the Colts or what?? Sigh a Dt and Steve smith and we should be done..

  • gpack17

not a bad signing..guy started for 3 years for a playoff colts team and then lost his starting job last season..a good reggie walker type signing i feel..i would love for us to draft and sign a corner and a receiver still.

    • Stefanie Smith

Why did he lose his starting job last season? Do you know?

  • Preston Niedert

Why the hate ppl it’s not sexy pick up its depth nothing else. Now as for as Steve smith the ravens are showing interests as well this could turn into a bidding war that the chargers can’t win. But maybe smith ready to come home to California.

  • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

an ex-colt, but a good signing. we need depth. who cares where he comes from

    • Stefanie Smith

There are other players out there besides ex-Colts. He has to know somebody else besides players that the Colts are discarding. Doesn’t he?

      • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

he has signed 5 ex-colts… stop staring at that and remember he signed dunlap, rinehart, woodhead and a host of other players last season.

    • Julien Bélair

      Agreed

    • Eli Rodriguez

We have been signing a lot of Colts this off season though. 2/3 were Colts. I can’t believe we only signed 3 players lol.

  • Julien Bélair

    Solid depth good pick up

  • Eli Rodriguez

It’s not a CB but I like not having to see Bront Bird take over anymore when someone gets hurt.

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

      bront bird was soooooooooo bad

      • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

such an upgrade at that spot. with all the injuries we had there last season, we need someone that hsa the ability to start. conner is that guy

      • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

I’m 6’1 185 and would be a upgrade over Bront Bird all day.

        • arnie

I’d take you over Cam at this point.

          • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

            ya buddy

    • Julien Bélair

      Haha yes rrlease this noob

  • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

What other Colts are FA’s? lol who cares where he comes from seriously, if he is a upgrade over BB (yes) then awesome, can’t see us wanting to draft another MLB so this was a good route to go and I’m guessing on the cheap.

    • Stefanie Smith

Okay okay. TT picks them. We must think they are an upgrade. Is this guy an upgrade?

      • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

That’s what I’m wondering. He does have starting experience, and one good season under his belt. TThat might be the upgrade right there?

      • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

ya if was a starter at any point in the NFL (which he was) he’s a upgrade anyday over Bront The birdman

        • Stefanie Smith

Come on, Mr. Blanks. You said he was an upgrade over Bird. How so? He started therefore he is an upgrade? Okay.

          • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

did you watch bront last season?

          • Stefanie Smith

Anybody is better than Bront? Is that the angle here?

          • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

not anyone… but someone that was a starter for 3 seasons, easily should be considered better than bront

          • Stefanie Smith

Okay. I can buy that. He started for 3 seasons and therefore is better than Bront. So experience is a factor. Yeah, that is something.

          • Brandon

He was a starter for 2 seasons not 3. He did not start last year and that is irrelevant anyway. He will be a strong backup bases on his skills period!!

          • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

This is correct.. I noticed the same thing when looking at stats.

          • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

Hey wait a sec Ernie, I remember one 4th down and 1 play he actually made a stop but that was it for the entire year.

          • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

            sigh.. hahaha… i hate you

          • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

            Hahahaha…

  • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

At least it’s a defensive signing. Is he an upgrade to Bront Bird? His stats were OK a few years ago, but Bird actually had slightly better stats than he did last year. Having said that, I realize that Bird played in more games. But, Bird was also used sparingly down the stretch when Te’O got up to speed. Hard to tell the difference. Maybe it’s the special teams that sets them apart? Has anybody noticed him in the past, or have better information?

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

i remember bird had the most tackles in the first game.. that meant nothing when they were all 5-10 yards down the field. he lost the starting job the next week.

      • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

Oh, I get it. I’m not saying Bird didn’t need to go. I was just wondering if anyone here actually knew anything about Conner, or if we are just assuming he is an upgrade, because TT signed him. Is he cheaper? It looks like he has more experience, but he hasn’t been a factor for the last two years in Indy it seems. He might be a great addition.. I was just wondering if anyone watched him in college or Indy or anything.

        • Stefanie Smith

Realism rears its ugly head once again.

          • arnie

Realism is understanding you can’t move forward with Bird as your go-to-guy in a back up situation.

          • Stefanie Smith

arnie;: you don’t know anymore about this guy than we do. I venture to say you didn’t even know who he was until yesterday or today. Pete is asking questions as to cheering this guy as a solid signing when we didn’t even know who he was. lol. That is hilarious and that is realism. Honestly, we have no clue if this guy will be good for the Chargers.

          • arnie

before i came here and “opened my mouth”, i went to the colts site and looked him up…..

          • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

(Waves White Flag Furiously) What do you make of him?

          • arnie

honestly. he looks like guy that will be an upgrade on special teams. And sense he was actually a starter, that seems to fall off due to injuries, the fall off if he had to start for the Chargers would NOT be as deep, with him in the game. Some players just plateau, and make good back-ups.
            my two cents…

          • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

ha… did that when i knew he was coming for a visit. i just dont write madness (all the time)

          • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

I put some feelers out there to see what Colts fans thought about him. Sometimes it’s better to ask the fans, instead of trusting what the experts say about a player. I’m sure we have a different opinion about our own players than Telesco would say publicly. Polian probably isn’t going to bad-mouth a guy that he probably picked. Having said that I don’t put too much stock into what fans say either (Eagles / Dunlap). So far, one guy said Connor is a 4-3 guy, and that’s why he didn’t really work out in Indy. I will report back my findings, as I get them.

          • NativeSanDiegan

Just an aside Peter. In my many years as a sports fan, Philly “fans” berate their own players mercilessly. City of Brotherly Love, ha! I could tell stories, but I’ll spare you

Realism enters the discussion. Thank you, Pete.

  • Eli Rodriguez

With the way our free agency is going does anyone see us getting a DT or CB in free agency?

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

we are going to need some vet at corner. even if we go that direction at the top of the draft. cant trust a rookie. so we should get someone.

      • Eli Rodriguez

I guess this means we’re going to be in competition to get Nix. I like him but I really don’t like the injury he had.

      • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

Tillman from the Bears is still available and that Captain guy too or either Cro’s

        • Derek

Tillman is by far the best one of the bunch but since he hasn’t spent time on the colts roster we won’t grab him. That’s a prerequisite now

        • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

I would be REALLY down with Tillman!

BB dreams of looking like this guy lol me too

  • Julien Bélair

Is he a good St player? Thats really important

  • navw21

This is what the ESPN FA Tracker has to say on Connor. Written by Bill Polian, Gary Horton, Matt Williamson and Field Yates.

Conner was a starter in 2011 but has seen his playing time drastically reduced over the past two seasons. An ankle injury was partially the culprit for less playing time, but when he sees the field, he can be useful. He is best as the first linebacker off the bench while also excelling on special teams.
On a related note Bront Bird did not make the tracker.

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

      hahaha

    • Julien Bélair

Yessss a good st player!! We need that badly

    • arnie

Thanks navw21, you saved me a trip.

  • davacho

let’s just get out of our heads over stats people. seriously. system is WAY too large of a factor. opportunity and surrounding cast are factors. trust the experts who know way more than us because this is their job and they have access to info we do not.

we are all entitled to our opinion, but ease up on the negative nancy/ned behavior (this is supposed to be fun remember?!), finally, if you don’t like the picks and say there are better options- kindly provide them with your post.

    that is all.

    • Julien Bélair

“This is supposed to be fun”

Great thing to say and so true. Enjoy the fa time guys

    • Stefanie Smith

It is fun, but it really isn’t fair to frame the opinions of those that are not on the Telesco bandwagon or question the direction the Chargers are going in as “negative Nancy/Ned”. We are arguing about football and what is actually wrong with that? Does it hurt people’s feelings when someone says something about Telesco’s or the Chargers’ decisions? Maybe YOU need to lighten up and not take it so serious.

Your answer is the “system is WAY too large” for us to know and don’t question the experts. This is not a religion here. It is sports and entertainment. God forbid we question the “experts”! Oops.

      • arnie

Maybe you need to stop arguing just for sake of arguing, because Telesco isn’t keeping up with what the broncos and other teams are doing. Look you’re entitled to your opinion, and respect that, all i would say it bring some facts with it. We had this same discussion about Dunlap, Woodhead, and Cox last season. Cox didn’t work out, and got cut. The other side with all the “big name” acquisitions other teams made. only “4″ teams proved to better than the Chargers.
Telesco isn’t perfect, but gosh darn it Stefanie he’s proven to be WAAAAAY better than aj smith. I don’t have to ride a bandwagon to see that. TT is working within the Chargers means to improve this team. Now i am assuming he is not brining in players to make this worse. Cox’s cut should be proof of that.
        That is all.

        • Stefanie Smith

Chill, arnie. Nothing wrong with discussing things. We should all sit around and pander to one another. Why are you guys getting so worked up when there is any criticism of Telesco.? The newspapers are saying it. It’s healthy to question the decision making of those in authority. People only get upset if they don’t have an answer. And this is nothing against Telesco. Fans want the Chargers going to the SB now–not in five years.

And no one thinks he is bringing in players to make it worse. Some (not just me) have questions on why he is doing certain things and not others. We better stop using “building through the draft” as a crutch and an excuse for not performing well this upcoming year. Our schedule is formidable.

          • arnie

It’s fine to have questons. Context. Who and what are the basis for the questions? For me? I wanted better that aj. In my opinion i got it. Secondly are these the same papers (ut) that doesn’t have the access it used too? Or the papers that said this team would be lucky to win 6 games? Either way their job is to sell stories. At the end of the day very few did their research and just went withe the status quo, “chargers will suck in 2013″. I believed they were full of it. How the season ended proved it.
As for formidable schedule? Who said that? is this not the same organization that held the bronco offensive juggernaut to it lowest scoring in the season, and second lowest in the playoffs? Yeah teams look intimidating on paper, unfortunately the games are played on the field. And i believe the Chargers can play with anybody. The draft was a part of it. i’m looking for the draft to contribute this year.

          • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

But, it would be nice to have a D that didn’t blow games along the way, get a first round bye, and not have your players struggle through injury making it out of the wild-card round… just an opinion. I think you can sign a solid big name free agent, and not be “making a huge mistake”. Like any player, they must be evaluated, and decided upon.. just like the players you draft.

I’m patient. I am happy AJ is gone too, and I expect Telesco to continue to improve in his decision making.. same with McCoy.. Pagano.. or anyone else on the Chargers. I think there is a happy balance, and other people want to see that balance being maintained, as well.

          • arnie

True. That’s why i try to see this in context. “big name” or not, they still have not made the team. Training camp will sort things out. The season will tell you who’s worth a new contratct. i simply understand why this guy is signed.
All i’m trying to say is “we do not have to keep pace with other teams to be successful”. I’m just trying to have some confidence in a GM, that was in a tough spot, took some chances, showed his intelligence and produced in his first year. It’s not a reach to reasonable assume, this team will be better in 2014, because of what he’s doing now.

        • Stefanie Smith

And you may disagree, but we better learn to “keep up” with our opponents or we are going to be left behind –while we “rebuild through the draft”.

          • arnie

How are we being left behind? Again, the Chargers went to the playoffs, and only four teams proved to be better. Two of those teams built through the draft and one of them won the Superbowl. It’s not a surprise the ones that invested heavily in FA went home empty handed.
Again the truth and facts are on my side. Your “worries” are not rooted in reality.

          • Stefanie Smith

Think 2014, arnie. Deny it all you want. Broncos’ defense got seriously better. And we are going to let Rivers and our guys face that. That is what I mean about keeping up. Furthermore, do you think we can beat the 9ers or Seahawks? I believe either one of those NFC teams or both are in our schedule. Can we match our 2014 competition? If it is yes, then we are good to go. If not, we are getting left behind and won’t even fare as well as we managed to do last year. Raiders will be better and so with the Broncos. We face stiffer competition this year. Last year is last year. How do we get better THIS year? And it is you that is not rooted in reality. You think it will be the same as last year.

          • arnie

I am thinking about 2014. I just need you to think rationally. Everything you just said is the same worries you had last season, and it is based what “other teams” are doing. So how doe we get better this year? To name a few, the Chargers needed a back-up RB that can carry the load, because we saw the drop off when RM24 wasn’t in, They got one. The Chargers were conservative on Offense play calling, Whiz moved on Reich who stated, wants to be more aggressive, is now calling the plays. Isn’t that what we wanted? Also, Allen, Fluker, Te’o are no longer rookies. They got better as the season went on. Bulter, Reinheart, Royal, JJ are all coming back. Wright, Addae, Green showed they could play. Dunlap, Woodhead, Troutman, Reyes, Liuget were worth their weight in gold. Not to mention Harris is returning from injury that played Great as the swing tackle.
Now TT is looking for depth at ILB, BTW this is the 3rd LB that was signed for depth. The broncos spent $60 mil on three players. 3. In what world does that qualify them as seriously better? Two of those players did not play the whole season. Freeney, another “big name” FA did not finnish for us. What that tells me is a Vet player that can’t finish a season is more likely to be injured next season. That is not certain. But the facts are on display.
Now since we’re talking about last season, and who is rooted in reality, aren’t you the same Stefanie that “questioned” Telesco’s experience, and “questioned” whether he could be a good GM or was even qualified? If I stand corrected, Telesco is doing basically the same thing he did last year, this year. If the results were getting this team to the Playoffs. Why would abandon it to keep up with other teams are doing?
The truth is, every year is different. Games are not won on paper. Not on how much money a team spends. But in the field. And no amount of questions or worry about what other teams do will change that.

        • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

In all fairness to Stef.. there were ten people saying “Great Signing” before anyone knew a single thing about the guy, just because they know Bront sucks, and we have bad depth… so, it goes both ways. When people were asked if he was actually any good, THEN people went out to get the facts. I didn’t know much about him, so I asked if anyone else did.. (because I’m at work, and can’t get that done.. Lol) and if anyone knew if he was an upgrade to Bird, or not. I could go by stats.. but “context”, right Arnie? So there is a little bit of kettle calling pot black going on here. Not you, of course.. you already said you checked him out previously.

      • davacho

your definition of “fun” must be a lot different than mine (which is perfectly ok!). you get off on arguing. cool- that’s your thing. you twist words. cool- that’s you’re thing.

seriously, and i made this comment way back when- you are impossible to have a conversation with (que argument) because, for whatever reason, you don’t read or understand written word. perhaps you aren’t able to accurately articulate your thoughts in a post and that frustrates you? honestly, i’m not messing around or trying to be a d-bag, i just don’t get it. you wear people down because we’re constantly trying to explain to you what you’re not getting and then it ends up in tangent-land where the original point has been lost in a sea of extraneous posts!

here goes (fingers crossed) a response in sequential order for your convenience:

CLEARLY, i wasn’t saying that if you question TT or the chargers org you are a negative person. my comment was about football in general (see my post for reference).

CLEARLY, i never said that arguing about football is wrong. i never used the word “argue” in my post. Annnnd i was arguing a point about football myself, so why would i say it’s wrong (see my post for reference)?

I’m assuming you think my feelings are hurt about a man i do not know? False.

My post is in response to people (mostly you on certain parts) that I felt needed to lighten up so touché (i know you are but what am i! really?).

CLEARLY i did not say the system is WAY to large for us to know and don’t question the experts. i said the system is WAY to large of a factor in determining player value- stats CANNOT stand alone in determining if TT & CO made a solid pick (see my post for reference).

When you tell me that this is not a religion here and that it is sports and entertainment it really makes me feel like you didn’t read/understand my post when i CLEARLY said this is supposed to be fun. but then i see that you referenced “fun” in your response so it leaves me shaking my head.

questioning the experts with an analytical mind, paying attention to context and history whilst maintaining an understanding that we don’t have access to to all the info is the way it should be. questioning the experts by just saying you don’t agree in generalities doesn’t hold weight, build credibility or make friends (look back at old threads and see how many people you’ve frustrated in this way).

finally, and this is just in general- a little unsolicited advice free of charge from a guy who makes mistakes all day long:

        - pick and choose your battles

        - if your point is to win the argument, a little understanding of the other point of view will go a long way

        - ease up on the direct insults and usage of ALL CAPS

        - emotionally responding in a flurry will more than likely yield an unfavorable result- reread a post before lighting it up

        - and lastly, remember we are all fans of the game and our bolts (we are on the same team!)

i know i sound like a total D (maybe i am), but i’ve grown tired of your antagonistic ways here… i won’t be arguing with you anymore- this is my peace. out.

        • Stefanie Smith

I don’t use all caps. You do. Just thought I would point that out.

And “seriously, and i made this comment way back when- you are impossible to have a conversation with (que argument) because, for whatever reason, you don’t read or understand written word. perhaps you aren’t able to accurately articulate your thoughts in a post and that frustrates you?” <—And that is your idea of fun?

you’re right, i don’t know any of that about you, but i don’t need to in this case. i’m not making a character judgement- i’m making a judgment on your behavior, which i found frustrating.

hope that makes sense. : )

Just my two cents.. I think Stef has come a long way since those epic arguments between you two (and with me) back in the day. She is not always “fun” to have a discussion with, but she doesn’t frustrate me anymore. She makes me laugh a lot too.. which I like. If I don’t want a discussion with her, or I disagree with her.. I just ignore her. I ignore a lot of people’s comments. That little “collapse feature” works pretty well.
Keep Bolting up, Davacho!!! ; )

          • davacho

agreed! maybe i’m just having a bad day. : )

          • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

No worries… I think we are all a little (or a lot) wound up right now, myself included… LET’S GET A BAD ASS SIGNING!!!! I like those caps.. hahaha!

          • davacho

yah, my biggest issue is that i can’t stand raider fans in general and i wanted bolt beat to feel a bit more safe… lol.

          • Stefanie Smith

Oh man, those were the days. Epic battle with Pete. lol

  • Julien Bélair

Big news Chargers are in play for Nicks along with panthers and colts

    • Sergio Quintero

May be true, but on his way to visit Indy, if leaves without a contract I would get my hopes up.

  • 619chargers4life

I’ve been thinking , it’s kind of smart to going after depth players early. By the time all teams start going after the role/depth players our chargers have already got our choice of the crop. Smooth move by TT. I’m sure TT has his list of players he wants to bring in as starters but he is letting the market come to him . Patience is a virtue.

    • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

I hope to God that this is the plan.. and that we aren’t just going to walk away with Donald Brown, and call it a day. Incidentally, I LOVE the Donald Brown signing. That’s who I would have signed as a back up RB = )

      • arnie

Peter if the Chargers have many holes to fill you know we can’t spend $60 mil on three players. This team needs bodies…. they all can’t be Ware. They just need to tackle.

        • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

Yes they need to tackle.. you said a mouthful right there. Are we going to try to fill EVERY hole we have this season, though? I would like to see us get some good players in here… not just spackle the road with half-talented players at all the positions, who probably won’t be here next year. Seems that the offensive guys are being paid decently, and nobody has a problem with that.. but, the defensive side of the ball has been filled with base-salary stop-gaps.. when you point to the defensive side of the ball, everyone suddenly says “we can’t afford it”.. and in their next breath say they want us to sign Hakeem Nicks. I understand people want a WR, but I think TT has added plenty of offensive talent, and is just hping that some of these lower level defensive players pan out. Seems very unbalanced, for a team that had a pretty horrible secondary last season. They had spurts of playing well, but were the weak spot of this team.

          • arnie

Your preaching to the choir. At the end of the day the defense is still a ways off from being good. The offense is good now. Adding DB keeps the chains moving. Spending everything the Chargers have under the cap to add a NT an DB does what? next year the Chargers will free up dead money, and could bring in so key guys.
However, the Seahawks, the SB Champs. That was a result of drafting over four years. Yeah they got some FA, context, they don’t need them. The broncos, are trying to get a ring on mannings finger. The Chargers, made the playoffs without them. And they are still paying for the FA splash because of gaither, meachum, Dunlap, Woodhead, and now cox.
            Patience…..

          • Stefanie Smith

Arnie: I am not trying to stir it up. I have heard the word “Patience” associated with the Chargers since the last SB. Come on. Every stinking year, it starts. Wait…maybe next year, have patience. I apologize, but it is getting old.

Are you saying that we are likely going to have to wait to get better on the D until next year? How about cutting Clary or restructuring his and Weddle’s deal or Gates’ deal? That would give us more cap space now to get an immediate impact player. Why is that such a bad idea?

          • Stefanie Smith

And Woodhead’s deal was hardly a splash nor was Dunlap’s. Small deals– Woodhead got little money with Dunlap slightly higher. And No we are not still paying for Dunlap and Woodhead, at least. They are earning their salaries. They came cheap and turned out great.

          • Stefanie Smith

Basically scrubs,. Pete. Bodies. Like what arnie says is adequate. Just put a body in the D. They just need to tackle. Now that is a great football mind!

  • Padraigh Keogh

Ah come off it… Is San Diego the city of Indianapolis rejects? Hope they are good.

    • arnie

I don’t know, it got this team to the divisional round.

      • Padraigh Keogh

Fair point. But there are 30 other teams and we also need starter at CB and DT. Rookies in those positions take time to develop. Not complaining. I see the logic in getting good cheap backups.

        • arnie

Chargers have a starter at NT in Lessimore. The team defense improved when he was in. As far as CB, Marshall is the best affordable option right now. But there is no rush to get a vet to compete in either spot. Asking prices are coming down…

  • Sergio Quintero

Small tidbits, Whitehurst aka CBJ is visiting the Titans, Sproles traded to Eagles, Vaughn Martin is a Lion now, Hakeem Nicks visiting Colts

    • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

Sproles in Chip Kelly’s system will be fun to watch, funny that anybody wants CBJ

      • Sergio Quintero

Not a surprise the only one that does is a system that CBJ knows, he must be really good in the meeting room and calling plays.

        • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

kind of exciting for us to wait and see who our new backup we can make fun of is lol, kinda hope we draft a youngster or maybe it’s Sorenson?

          • Sergio Quintero

            Put me down for Sorensen

  • navw21

Anyone see Kiper’s new mock draft out today? Has us taking CB Bradley Roby for Ohio St. Louis Nix III not even drafted in the first round.

    • Sergio Quintero

I like Verret & Fuller more than Roby, he’s seems a better athlete than player right now, the fact I got to see both of the games Roby played like crap doesn’t help from my perspective (Abbrederis torched him for 200 yards, Robinson had over 160 mostly on him).

    • Gunnar Martin

Kiper is an idiot. I hate that guy.

  • Sergio Quintero

Any guesses on a corner and Nose Tackle the chargers sign, put me down for CB Carlos Rogers (had to take the fake account guy), NT Isaac Sopoaga, seems solid and good player.

    • navw21

Tarell Brown is who Im hoping for. But a name that intrigues me is Tracy Porter. Maybe Ryan Pickett at NT

      • Sergio Quintero

It was Rogers or Brown, and Pickett is proven they would upgrade what the chargers have here, good answers.

  • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

I want to sign James Harrison again (did last year too) just to run him wild at Peyton Manning and put a end to them once and for all. Let’s see them win it all with Brock Assweiler under center.

    • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

also would be required for him to wear white war paint on his face every game or no deal.

      • Stefanie Smith

Now we are talking. Seriously bad ass. Maniacs on the D.

      • Stefanie Smith

I know it is not the defense, but remember Fluker’s body slam? I felt bad for the Raider guy that got slammed. Omg, that was a maniac there.

    • Sergio Quintero

Or Lamarr Woodley the other angriest man on the planet

  • Sean M

Why did we let Reggie walk? He can play every lb spot?
