I guess we can start talking about the Super Bowl on Bolt Beat. The Broncos and the Seahawks are the best teams in the league. We get to face off against both of these teams next year during the regular season. We get to face the Broncos twice. JOY!

Anyway, the Broncos are the offensive juggernaut going into the game and they have not faced off against a good defense in the playoffs. We slowed them down a bit and forced a couple of turnovers in the game, but we were unable to force any punts against them. The Broncos marched up and down the field against us and we all know that our defense was pulling things off with smoke and mirrors at the end of the year.

The Broncos will have to go up against the best defense in the league and the loud talking Richard Sherman. Sherman will be looking to get his hands on a couple of those “ducks” that Peyton Manning  throws. The Seahawks will have to force some turnovers in the game.

The league’s top defense vs the league’s top offense. Does defense still win championships?

This should be fun to watch. I will be rooting for the Seahawks to pull off this victory. I can’t root for the Broncos in the game. I just can’t find it in me to do so.

Seahawks 28 – Broncos 24

Who are you rooting for and what are your predictions for the game?

Seattle all the way for me. I am sorry, but I cannot cheer for a team that beat the Chargers. Manning cannot even say Rivers’ name or say the name, “Chargers” when he is on TV. Sick of the Denver fans also.

Plus, I hate gay cowboys like Elway. And Idon’t like Donkeys either. Brokeback Broncos.. lol.

  • Gunnar Martin

I’m with you Ernie. I just can’t bring myself to root for the Donkeys. I’m going for Seattle in this game. However, if Denver does happen to pull it out, at least there’s a pretty good chance of Peyton retiring.

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

i thought about that… but he already has said that he wants to play again next season. so… he might as well lose now. ha

      • Gunnar Martin

I don’t buy anything he says right now because he WILL feel much different if they win. He would definitely at least reevaluate his situation. Don’t get me wrong, though, I still want them to lose. GO HAWKS!

        • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

hahahahaha… i hear ya. i wouldnt mind him out of our division!

          • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

And Awfweiler stepping in.. I’ll buy that for a dollar ; )

          • Gunnar Martin

Yes please. I would love watching us beat up a 6’7 guy in the pocket. Such an awkward body type for a QB. Not to mention much easier for our DBs to read. Come on Peyton, it’s time for you to go away!

      • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

I read an article where he is going to get together with his Doctors and determine whether it would be wise to play another season. I thought it was BS, and just hyping the readers up, so that he could get the media support to get a Superbowl this year, instead of next. But, it sounded like he is really going to think hard about coming back, if his medical staff suggest retirement. Gunnar might be right.

        • Eli Rodriguez

If manning wins I don’t see him coming back. Why not go out on a record breaking season while also winning the superbowl. The only reason I see him coming back is to try and win twice. But I doubt that will happen .

          • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

In that case, I’m rooting for the Broncos.. lol.

  • Stefanie Smith

Slightly off topic, but they had Tiki Barber on NFL Network talking about some of the Giants’ problems. They started talking about the limited amount of time teams get to practice together and work things out between QB and receivers. He sort of said Eli did not put in that extra time.

Look at all the time Manning spent with his receivers. He even flew them out to where he was at for practice so they could acclimate to him and work on developing a real good rapport. I hope Rivers does this with his key players. They need a lot of time together, not just Wednesday and Thursday at practice. Extra time is required for us to crank it up to the next level. The amount of practice allowed under the current CBA is not enough.

Hard to find the time with 7 kids.. Lol.

On Sunday….. Seahawks all the way baby…nothing would be better than seeing Horse face Elway n 5 head manning n his swollen tongue on the losing side

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

      :)

  • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

My prediction is that Peyton Manning dies from a blindside hit, and Brook Osweiler can’t pull out the win, in the wake of the recent tragedy.

    • Eli Rodriguez

I wouldn’t want him to die but, I can def see him getting injured to the point where he can’t finish the game. I just don’t want him in the division anymore.

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

that’s kind of harsh… (but it was funny? hahaha… really though, harsh)

      • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

Lol… yeah, it was a little harsh, wasn’t it. I was just being silly. Everyone knows they wouldn’t continue if someone died. I think it’s in Manning’s contract that the world must stop rotating if he even so much as gets a hang nail, anyway. I’m sure they have instructed the refs to have their flags ready, should someone touch him a nanosecond late, or graze his helmet with their fingertip ; )

  • Eli Rodriguez

I really want the Hawks to win. But if the donkeys win manning might retire so I’d love to not play manning anymore. Denver won’t be as good if they lose manning.

  • arnie

I’m rooting for the winner of the 2015 Superbowl, San Diego Chargers! Besides football ended for me over three weeks ago.
