The AFC Championship game is on the horizon and Chargers fans feel like the Chargers should be in this game. The team was one more possession away from being in the game, but now the team is sitting on the sideline like 28 other teams this weekend.

The AFC Championship game has a couple of teams that Chargers fans hate. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning have been a thorn in the team’s side for years and one of them will get to head to the Super Bowl AGAIN. When will the Chargers get their shot at the Super Bowl?

The Chargers have faced off against the Broncos three times this season and we are well aware on what they are able to do. The Chargers were also are one of the few teams that were able to slow the pace down on the Broncos and were able to slow their offense down. Will Bill Belichick be able to do the same?

The Broncos and Patriots already faced off against each other earlier this year and the Patriots stole the victory. Can they make it happen again?

The Chargers haven’t faced off against the Patriots this season, but we know what they are about. They are a well coached team and Tom Brady will make things happen on offense.

Either way, Chargers fans will not be happy with either of these teams advancing to the Super Bowl. Of the two though, which one will you be rooting for on Sunday?

Who are you rooting for in the AFC Championship game?

Dick's Sporting Goods presents "Hell Week":

With Boston already winning the World Series and all their Red Sux baseball cap and Patriot jerseys stomping around our town, I don’t want to give those transplanted fans any more reasons to celebrate. I live in PB where there are Patriot bars. F That! I was watching a game at my favorite bar one Sunday, where the Charger game is always on the Big screen, with sound and virtually on nearly one side of the entire bar. My buddies and I, all wearing Charger shirts and jerseys, was approached by a knucklehead in a Patriots jerseys and asked why the Patriot game wasn’t on the big screen. He was serious. We replied, “this is SAN DIEGO!!!” And he replied, “but the Patriots are winning”, referring to the records at the time (mid-season). Look, I can understand why people want to move here but we have a football team dammit. I’m just sick of those arrogant toolbags. The only Boston team I have a modicum of respect for are the Bruins. The rest can all blow.

I’ve been struggling with this one ever since we lost. Really can’t cheer for either of them, so I’ll just wait for the outcome. However, I will say that if the Donkeys do go on to win the SB, I won’t be too upset. Let’s face it: they deserve it after the monstrous, record-setting season they’ve had. Plus, it can’t hurt that Manning will retire if they come through. That would put them in a really sucky QB situation. They wouldn’t be able to draft a starter unless they traded WAY up, so Brock Osweiler would probably start for them next season. We would be top dogs in the AFC West once again.

    • Nick in PB

OMG, Gunner, great point!!! That would be the perfect time for Manning to retire. What’s his contract say though??? Did they sign him for 4 years? Like I said earlier, no more champions from that part of the States!!!

      • Gunnar Martin

I actually think they originally signed him to a five year contract, but there’s no way he stays that long. Just think about it. It would be the perfect season to end on. Single-season record for yards, touchdowns, points, and an MVP. Throw in a Super Bowl plus the fact that he’ll be like 39 or something next season, there’s really no reason to come back. Denver will have played themselves right out of future contention.

I could care less about either but given I bet my avatar last Sunday with a buddy on the BOLTS Donkeys game and now bare this shame, I need the Belicheats to win so I can take this disgusting pic down.

hahahaha… was wondering about the pic! figured you put it up for bet.. haha

    • FitzWilly

      you poor bastard
that’s the kinda pain that won’t go away any time soon :(

  • Blue&gold_blood

I hate the manning sisters .

  • RZ

This is the “other” game that’s on?

  • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

Personally, I can only root for either team if it has positive implications for San Diego. So, I guess it’s the Patriots, if I have to pick. I can’t stand Brady, but I can’t stomach any Superbowl bragging from Denver fans for an entire year. Also, I feel sad that Daryl Peek has to have that hideous avatar. . Lol.
