Last week I said I hoped that I got another chance to write one of these articles.  This week is no different.  I hope that next week I’m writing the title: “Chargers @ Colts/Patriots: Players To Watch.”  Here are some players to watch as we take on the tough, tough Denver Broncos for the third time this season, in the appropriately titled “Divisional Round” of the playoffs.

Ryan Mathews

Will he or won’t he?  That’s the question every Chargers fan is thinking right now.  Mathews has been huge for us against the Broncos in the past and we need him out there this Sunday.  Ryan has cast off the “soft” label and has become a true workhorse for the Chargers offense this year and I have no doubt that it would take his ankle literally falling off for him not to be out there.  If we are to challenge the Broncos again we need him on the field pounding the rock.  If he can’t make it, then Ronnie Brown becomes THE player to watch.
