San Diego Chargers are 40/1 Odds to Win Super Bowl

The oddsmakers out in Vegas put out the odds for each teams chances to win the Super Bowl and the Chargers have the worst odds of every other team that has made the playoffs. Our odds to win the Super Bowl right now are at 40-to-1.

Those odds look a lot better than it would have looked if we lost on Sunday. We wouldn’t even have been listed.

Here are the rest of the odds for the other teams in the playoffs:

Odds to win the 2014 Super Bowl XLVIII

Denver Broncos                        11/4
Seattle Seahawks                      11/4
San Francisco 49ers                  7/1
New England Patriots                9/1
Carolina Panthers                      10/1
Green Bay Packers                    14/1
Cincinnati Bengals                     16/1
Philadelphia Eagles                   16/1
New Orleans Saints                   22/1
Kansas City Chiefs                    25/1
Indianapolis Colts                      28/1
San Diego Chargers                  40/1

I guess we are the biggest underdog in this race. Everyone likes a Cinderella story. Time for us to put on that glass slipper and go to the ball! Never doubt an underdog. We are in the race and we are here to make some noise.

Baltimore was an underdog last season, anyone remember how that turned out?

  • ayyyyy

The Chargers are a team of destiny this year. Just think of this – the last four years, the team that the Eagles have played in their home opener went on to win the Super Bowl. Guess who that team is this year? THE CHARGERS!

    • Vince McMahon

The Eagles haven’t made the playoffs since 2011(3 years), and they are in the NFC, while the Charger are in the AFC. How do you think they are playing each other in the opening round?

      • Peter Thompson

He means the regular season home opener in Philly, Vince. We beat Philly in their home opener this season. Over the last four seasons, the team that did that has won the Superbowl.

But 1 issue, it is the Chargers this year, LOL not happening

          • Peter Thompson

Just like they weren’t supposed to win more than six games… just like they were slated to finish 4th in the division… just like they were supposed to lose to the Broncos in Denver… just like they weren’t supposed to make the playoffs… just like Ryan Mathews was supposed to be a bust… just like Philip River’s career was supposed to be over… yeah…. those were all “issues” too. Bwahahaha!
