GIF: Ryan Succop's Missed Field Goal

I honestly could watch that missed field goal from Ryan Succop over and over and over and over and over and over……. and over again. I remember leading up to that kick, I am praying.. I am saying miss that field goal.. I am saying block that field goal. I am losing my mind and preparing myself for disappointment. The kick goes up and it goes wide and I LOSE MY MIND!!!!!  I still can’t believe what happened.

Let’s relive that moment all over again:

Watching Ryan Succop’s reaction:

Wow. That single moment of the game was madness. We just rose from the dead on that moment and we were able to take the ball in overtime and drive down the field to get our own field goal. Nick Novak was able to knock that thing in.

I still can”t believe that he shanked that field goal. Greatest moment ever!

Also, that “fumble” by Eric Weddle made me lose my mind all over again.

I was standing up in front of TV yelling Hook left Hook left and low and behold the darn thing hooked. That was seriously amazing, I knew when he missed it the game was ours.

It was a thing of beauty. The entire game had me blood pressure rising. Our receivers were dropping the ball and it was pissing me off. I typed “catch the f’n ball” on the forum and got banned for 6 months. It was well worth it after we managed to live to fight another day. Bengals…YOUR NEXT.

    Yeah, nice help from officials!

I was at the game… the crowd was louder than heck! Been to my share of Bolt games. .. including playoffs. . NEVER heard the crowd go that crazy. All biased feelings aside… it didn’t matter how the defense were lined up… Succop just buckled from nerves. Had he made it, the officials would probably be a sidenote at best. The home crowd getting loud won that game… KC should know how that works… they have gotten away with murder all year, and also have a 12th man… just sayin.

I know I am not alone when I say that I literally had tears in my eyes the instant that ball started hooking left. The football gods just love to tease us, don’t they?

I have a HUGE problem with the majority of “golf clap” fans at Qualcomm. At times, I have been at games, and they are much more interested in sitting down, eating a dog, relaxing, and shooting you a dirty look for getting loud.. GO WATCH A BASEBALL GAME, YOU 60-SOMETHING LAME-O!!!! It sickens me.

In fact.. all during the game, the fans would let the Chiefs huddle up in silence, and only get loud when they got to the line. In the 4th quarter, the crowd FINALLY got loud when they were huddling, and were at their loudest on this kick… I even said to the guy next to me “I’ve never heard it this loud here”.

Ladies and gentlemen. .. we have our twelfth man back! It was one of the first things McCoy commented on in his press conference. Norv & AJ just about killed the 12th man.
