If they end up at 9-7 and not in the play offs, that is okay by me. The season is still a success. Teamwork, grit, fight, loyalty, good attitude, friendship, etc…. all things the team built during this season with a new coach. Hoping Chargers get in the play offs mainly because it’s obvious the guys are still fighting for it. (And here we were talking about the stinking May draft). They definitely aren’t thinking draft.

I will be ecstatic either way. If we make the playoffs, then we achieved the main goal. Awesome. If we come up short, then we won’t have to worry about picking that late in the draft. There’s a positive for every outcome :)

We could end up with a 9-7 season and still not make the play offs. I don’t worry about the draft. Worrying about the draft is for the Texans and the Skins. Even the Jaguars aren’t worried about the draft. Play to win.

I’m not saying play for a good pick. Playing to win is definitely the way to go. I’m just saying that there will be reason for a little happiness if we come up short one way or another.
