The San Diego Chargers did their part in knocking off the Denver Broncos. Now they will need some help this weekend from the other teams in the league.

The Chargers get a win over both Manning brothers in the last 5 days. The Chargers controlled the football the whole game with Ryan Mathews running hard and gaining chunks of yards. He carried the offense on his back and helped run that clock down.

Philip Rivers hooked up with Keenan Allen for a pair of scores. Allen’s leap over the defender was outstanding for the team’s first score. His play on the second touchdown was also very impressive. The kid has been balling out.

The defense stepped up huge by stopping Peyton Manning. They forced 3-and-outs and forced an interception. They had an awesome game on the defensive side. Credit goes to John Pagano for putting together a great gameplan against Peyton. Corey Liuget was in the backfield making plays the whole game and his hit on Peyton to force the interception sealed the game.

Great game by the Chargers.
