Keenan Allen's Shoulder Expected To Bother Him The Rest of the Season

Keenan Allen got a pain-killer at half time to help with the pain on his injured shoulder and was able to get back on the field. He took an x-ray on the shoulder and it came back negative. He does expect the injury to bother him for the rest of the season though, per Tom Krasovic.

Allen has had an incredible season. He had a couple of catches for scores in the game against the Giants. One was a highlight dive toward the end zone in which he walked the tight rope down the sideline to get the score. His second grab is where he suffered the injured shoulder. He made a grab and picked up some yards but went down hard on his shoulder. He sat out for a few plays, but was able to get back on the field and grab another touchdown before the end of the game.

    Dude is a stud.

He is making Tom Telesco look like a genius. Actually Fluker, Woodhead and Allen are all making him look good.

Cox, not so much, but at least it was a smart contract and not a ton of guaranteed money.

    • Jeff Sargent

yeah, we were borrowing Cox for the season so we can pick up a CB for next draft.

    Inflamed bursa sack at least.

If bothering him you mean catching only 2 TD per game, because the his shoulder, imagine what we can expect next season when it isn’t. He can make plays, and he’s tough.
