Chargers Escape Sunday’s Win Healthy

The Chargers were able to get out of the game with the New York Giants fairly healthy. Keenan Allen busted his shoulder in the game, but he is going to push through and play with the injury. Other than that, Mike McCoy has said that the team walked away from the game very healthy, per Michael Gehlken.

That is some good news for the Chargers. It was nice seeing some players get back to field to put together the Chargers most complete game of the year. Melvin Ingram made a return to action. Jarret Johnson made a return. King Dunlap. We finally are getting some healthy bodies onto the field.

We will need the health. If we plan on getting to the playoffs, then we will need some luck and health along the way.

How many snaps did Ingram play? Can’t wait for Thursday’s game, couldn’t watch the game yesterday because of Fox in OC showing the Niners/Hawks. I seriously had people over to watch the Bolts game and much to my surprise it wasn’t shown here. I’m not streaming games anymore so I missed it =(

That is a bust!!!! It wasn’t many snaps. Will have to look it up

    • Peter Thompson

I think I read that he had 13 snaps somewhere ???

      • Gunnar Martin

I saw 12. Something around that range.

        • Peter Thompson

And he already got a forced fumble… lol. Although, SuperMel says it was Reggie Walker.

Now if we can only stay healthy next season…

If he’s here? RM24 is on the final year of his rookie contract.

I was talking about our entire team, but that too. Ryan actually has one more year after this. Free agent in 2015. Here’s a list of all our players’ contracts btw

Whoops! Thanks Gunnar, I must be thinking Donald Butler. Yeah I hear what your saying.

  • Peter Thompson

I did see Fluker kind of hobbling to the bench toward the end of the game. Hope that ankle / knee isn’t any worse.

Most 100-yard rushing games in NFL this season: LeSean McCoy (5), Adrian Peterson (5), Ryan Mathews (4).

Having these guys back was a difference maker for sure! Butler looked the the Butler before the injury too. Like seeing that and Dunlap being back made a big difference in the fact that the O Line played where they were suppose to and they played well against a decent front 4.
