Melvin Ingram Will Return To Field On Sunday vs Giants

Melvin Ingram has been activated to the 53 man roster and will make his debut this weekend against the New York Giants, according to Michael Gehlken. That boy has put in some work! That is incredible that Melvin has been able to get back up to playing status.

That is some exciting news for a defense that has struggled to get pressure on the quarterback. The defense has struggled doing anything on the field. I am excited to see him get onto the field. I know it will be his first action in a long time, but I still love that he is out there and ready to make some things happen.

Will he be up to full form? Likely not, but he is on the field working. I love the attitude that the young man is bringing to the defense.

If/when he puts Eli Manning on the turf, I will be screaming my head off. I am stoked to have him on the field. I wish he could start, but I doubt that he will be out there working like that so quickly.

Just saw this on Facebook, great news. I’m curious if we use him like Seattle uses Bruce Irvin in just pass rush all out situations, that would give him a lot of rest and could benefit him.

They will probably ease him into the rotation. His knee still hasn’t seen any real playing time.

I still hate Eli for rejecting sd I don’t wish no injuries but a hilight sack would be poetic

Best news I’ve heard all day. Look out Eli.

So awesome! However, this just makes the Brandon Taylor situation even MORE complicated, to me. Is he just THAT bad? Because Gilchrist is terrible. This shows that they aren’t scared to put players who are coming off of severe injuries on the field immediately. Unless, Taylor re-injured himself, to the point that he can’t play. What’s the story there? I wish they would just come out and say it ???

Addae is better at SS,right now, the kid just gets it. I can see his inexperience in coverage, it’s hesitation. With time he’ll trust what he sees and make more plays.

I’m cool with Addae.. Do you think Taylor is just bad? Like… worse than Gilchrist bad? Not sure they have given him much of a chance. Very Norvish to me… not developing a 3rd round pick. He seemed to have such promise.

Actually Taylor is reinured from the cardinals preseason game.

      • Peter Thompson

I know he “tweaked it”. but that was months ago… must have been really serious then.

  • Peter Thompson

Oh… and I get to see him play live!!!! Neener Neener.

    • arnie

I see you in the parking lot….fingers crossed.
