Royal hasn’t really stuck it to his former team yet.  Last year he spent a lot of time injured, further down the depth chart or not on the same page as Rivers.  This year, it seems, he’s a completely different player.  He’s firmly in the receiver rotation and contributing in a big way (7 TDs on the year).  Hopefully he can get out there on Sunday (he’s been nursing a toe injury) and finally punish the Broncos for letting him go.

I am looming for Ladarius to have a big game. They are to get him on the field. It’s time. Also, Mathews averages over a hundred yards against the Broncos. Have Don at the tailgate bro! Yale some pictures. .. can’t washout to see the interviews posted!

Yes, more Laderius. I have a feeling the Chargers have waited to unveil some new wrinkles for this game. Something we haven’t seen yet. And the D will be doing what they should do ALL the time, disguise their coverages the way they did against the Colts. I don’t see this as a trap game for the Broncos. Division games hardly ever are. Maybe the John Fox absence will make a difference in this first game?

Hopefully you are right. Why they would wait until we are 4-4, and facing THIS upcoming schedule to pull out the good stuff would be perplexing. Lol. That would be VERY Norvish.

Trap game for the Broncos? Maybe. Rivers is awesome! I hope we don’t over look the Chargers

i can maybe seeing that with the bye week, thomas maybe missing the game, and your coaching situation. It will be a fun match up with the #1 and #2 qb playing in the same game.

i think a key factor is being able to control the clock. I hope we play like we did against the colts but better in the red zone. We need td’s against manning. Also running the ball would be nice

I’m surprised you didn’t mention anyone on the O-Line

Personally I’ll be looking at King Dunlap and DJ Fluker (Especially Dunlap)

Not only did Dunlap shut down Robert Mathis but Dunlap was the highest graded tackle in Week 6 with a cool +6.2. 49ers Joe Staley was 2nd at 4.8

The same Robert Mathis who leads the NFL in sacks. Seems to good to be true.

If Dunlap really is the LT of the future for the Chargers this game will tell us a lot.

i would think that miller would most likely line up against fluker more through out the game than he would against dunlap.

Have fun at the game today Dave!!! Hopefully, you’ll come back happy. I agree with you and your players to watch. Especially Butler and the secondary. The only ones I have total faith in is Philip and Weddle. The rest have to play up to (Reyes Leigut) or beyond (secondary) expectations!
