Chargers LB Jarret Johnson Injury Update

I don’t think the Chargers can have all their linebackers healthy at one time. Donald Butler made his return, but as soon as he got on the field Jarret Johnson aggravates his hamstring injury and is on the sidelined all over again.

Facepalm

Why does this keep happening?!?!

Johnson returned for a game after the BYE week, but it looks like he could be on the sideline for the game against the Denver Broncos. If Johnson were to be on the sideline for the Chargers on Sunday, Larry English and Thomas Keiser would likely be the starting outside linebackers for the team against Peyton Manning. Hopefully someone can surprise and make it around the corner to put some pressure on Peyton.

We will need to get as much pressure on Peyton Manning as possible. We need to get him out of his groove and try to get him uncomfortable in the pocket. It will be up to the outside linebackers to get that pressure on him off of the edge. Johnson has been one of the best to get pressure for the team this year, but it seems that his hamstring is not letting him play.

i don’t know why the chargers don’t rehab in Big Bear or Lake Arrowhead. Their bodies will create more RBC which would not only bring more O2 to the injury but would give the players better performance. Denver is a mile high (duh) but Big Bear and Arrowhead are over 7000′ which would give the Chargers the performance edge.

Hamstring injuries suck, I have a lingering hammy injury from 3 years ago. JJ could be perfect one day but if it’s not 100% healthy and he lifts something or makes a quick turn it can flare up all over again, then if you play on it flared it gets worse & worse. Acupuncture & stretching is the best remedy I’ve found.

Sucks he’s not going to play though, we need at least some sort of pass rush.

Yeah, imagine if this team had Ingram, Freeney, Butler, Teo all on the field healthy at one time… It will never ever ever happen but just imagine…
