Broncos TE Julius Thomas Game Status

Denver Broncos TE Julius Thomas says that he is a game time decision for the game on Sunday. I wouldn’t mind if he took the week off to rest his injuries. He deserves a break. He has been working hard for the Broncos all season!

Our defense could use the break as well. The Broncos have a ton of weapons on offense already, they don’t need him to be on the field to add more trouble for our defense. We are going to struggle to keep up with Wes Welker, Eric Decker and Demaryius Thomas already.

The Chargers should get Donald Butler back on the field for this game. He and Manti Te’o likely would have to keep up with Thomas on some plays. Eric Weddle will be the most likely player to stay with Thomas. Thomas would have a big size advantage over him, but Weddle can handle his own. We need him to.

If Thomas is out, we can use Weddle somewhere else. Likely out of position at middle linebacker again.

I hope he does take the week off, Weddle couldn’t cover Reed or Paulson on Wash, there’s no way he can cover a even taller faster longer TE like Thomas. We need a 6″6 Linebacker with speed to match up with this kinda guy.

We should put Ladarius Green on him. Then he would finally get the playing time he deserves.

That would actually be awesome if he could learn to do it, he could still play his offensive snaps because they aren’t any lol.
