Donald Butler Still Not On Practice Field Today

The San Diego Chargers are back on the practice field after taking the week off and Donald Butler still is not on the field. Butler has been sidelined with a groin injury and has missed the last couple of games because of the injury. I thought that he would be back in full swing this week, but it seems that he still needs some time to rest.

The Chargers will be facing off against Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins this weekend and it would be nice to have our starting middle linebacker back in the lineup this weekend.

We will have to see his progress during the week. Hopefully he will be able to join practice this week, but it seems that the injury is lingering around for a bit.

Let him sit for as long as he needs.

Agreed. For those of us that have had a groin injury, it is something that just needs time. And it is easy to re-injure. There is nothing wrong with giving him a couple more days.

He shouldn’t play until he’s truly healthy, those groin injuries can linger if you play too soon, plus Gachkar/Walker have played well.

Seems like the same injury every season .

Honestly, the defense has played good enough without him. That’s what back-ups are for. Let him rest.
If the Chargers can justify keeping Larry English around, I can be patient on Butler.

Let him rest til the Donkos game…
