Bye Week Withdrawals: Broncos vs Redskins Open Thread

The Denver Broncos lost their first game of the season against the Indianapolis Colts last week and now they are looking to get back on the right track against the Washington Redskins. The Redskins have a strong offense if Robert Griffin is on his game and the Broncos have struggled on defense. The Chargers will be playing both of these teams in the next couple of weeks. We return from the BYE week to face the Redskins in Washington, then we will be facing the Broncos right after that game.

We definitely should have a ton of interest in this game. Our offense is similar to the Broncos. If they are able to move the ball against the Redskins, then we should be able to do the same things against them in our game.

If the Redskins do some good things against the Broncos, then we can learn from them also. This game will be study material for the next couple of matchups. Will be interesting to see these two teams go after it.

Hope we study Denver’s blitzes and what ever Jacksonville did to contain em. We should also check wash runs I’m sure that’s where we’ll be tested most next week also griffin gonna do some Pryor impressions

Jered Allen might be on the trade block, imagine him on our D.

Not for 3rd rd pick plus! Next season we’re gonna be stacked with freeny, Ingram and kaiser, hopefully tourek will come into his own by then. What we really need is a gap eating nt

      that guy is a beast.

    • Daryl Peek

Love his motor but he’s a true 4-3 DE that’s never played OLB. Can’t see it

      • Lee

he could probably play OLB in our D

  • Rob Base

Washington can’t seem to convert on 3rd down at all. Hoping for an upset. Browns couldn’t pull it off.

Whelp every team we needed to lose today did except the AFC west. We still in that 2nd wildcard spot right now.

That sure looked like a concussion with a sprained knee for Griffin at the end of the game, interesting to see if Griffin isn’t full speed on Sunday against the Bolts.
