Chargers Player to Watch: Keenan Allen
The rookie is coming off of his best performance and won the rookie of the week award for what he did against the Indianapolis Colts. Allen had his second straight 100-yard performance and caught the only touchdown that was thrown in the game. Allen has been getting a ton of praise lately and should get a lot of action on Sunday.
Jaguars Player to Watch: Justin Blackmon
Since returning to the football field from a suspension, Blackmon has been one of the best receivers in the league. In his 2 games he already has 326 receiving yards and a touchdown. He caught 14 passes for 190 yards last weekend. The Jaguars know how to get him the football and he will be a big time target for the Jaguars on Sunday.
Matchup to Watch: Derek Cox vs Justin Blackmon
Derek Cox has struggled with the San Diego Chargers. He has given up a ton of big plays and might get matched up against Justin Blackmon on Sunday. Cox would love to have a good performance against his former team, but it will be a tough matchup for him this weekend.
The Chargers need to put a win streak together. They are chasing the Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos in the standings and the Chargers are looking for a wild card playoff berth. The Chargers need to win the games that they are supposed to win. Philip Rivers will come out and control the offense again and will get the ball out to Keenan Allen a number of times. Justin Blackmon will get his again, but the Chargers will leave the game with the win.
