Keenan Allen Listed As Top 15 Rookie This Season

San Diego Chargers WR Keenan Allen is getting a lot of recognition for his play this season. NFL.com made a list of top 15 rookies from this season and Allen was number 8 on the list.

Check out the summary on Allen for the season:

8. Keenan Allen, San Diego Chargers wide receiver: We’ve pointed out Allen’s emergence as Philip Rivers’ go-to receiver in back-to-back prime time games the past two weeks. A first-round talent who slid to the third, Allen is a complete receiver playing with a veteran’s savvy. – NFL.com

I expect Allen to rise higher and higher on this list as he gets more opportunity to play in the game. He is the highest listed Chargers rookie on the list. It is mainly because skill positions get all the love in the league. D.J. Fluker has been solid over at right tackle and was only listed as an honorable mention for top rookies in the league.

I can’t wait to see more out of Allen this season catching those passes from Philip Rivers. Rise to the top of this list and help bring the Chargers those wins.

While he has started out strong I still remain a stead-fast: “To be Determined” on all rookies until the season is over. This NFL attempt to create bullshit meaningless stories gets old. I have something they can rank. Fluker has been one of the best tackles of the entire crop and gets honorable mention, OK experts thanks for writing an article that continues to get you a pay check but it has the substance of a rice cake…

Can’t decide if I should start him in fantasy this week. I get the feeling that Brown is gonna have his best game so far, and we’ll probably be running the ball quite a bit.

Keenan Allen is now the#1 WR since last week, & keep in mind were playing the Jags

Keenan Allen really should of had 2 more TDs if it wasn’t for a late throw that was picked and a ground ball Philip threw in the last two weeks

That same article put Te’o in a list for most disappointing. Fluker and Allen are on the rookie first team for sure!
