Ryan Mathews, Jarret Johnson Not Practicing On Wednesday

Both Ryan Mathews and Jarret Johnson were not participating in the Chargers practice on Wednesday. Mathews suffered a concussion in Sunday Night’s game against the Oakland Raiders and will likely take some time to recover from the concussion. With Ryan on the sideline, Danny Woodhead and Ronnie Brown will get more action. LeRon McClain will likely see more action at the running back position as well.

Jarret Johnson had to leave the game with a hamstring injury and he will take some time to recover also. If Johnson were to miss any time on the field, the Chargers would have to use Larry English and Thomas Keiser as their starting outside linebackers against the Colts. That wouldn’t be too pretty. We have to get some pressure on Andrew Luck on Monday or he will pick us apart. John Pagano has a tough task in front of him this weekend.

Forget pressure. sacks will accomplish the same thing.

No faith the English will do squat. He has been in the back field but about .5 seconds too late. Keiser can hopefully engage beast mode!

English is still on the team? Smh!

Man injury after injury. They say everyone gets injuries but it’s taken their toll big time on our squad.
