Chargers 30 – Cowboys 21: Philip Rivers Lights Up The Scoreboard

I finally got a chance to write about the win yesterday. It was a needed win by the boys and the offense stepped their game up. Who would have known that we had 3 reserves starting on the offensive line? They stepped up and held the Dallas pass rush the whole game. Philip Rivers was on fire tossing that ball around to his receivers. He looked like he know what the Dallas Cowboys were doing the whole game.

Philip tossed that ball around for 401 yards and 3 scores. He hit Antonio Gates for 136 yards and a score and Danny Woodhead looked great catching passes out of the backfield. Keenan Allen stepped up with 5 catches and 80 yards.

The defense finally pulled things together. Dez Bryant scored a couple of touchdowns for the Cowboys, but he didn’t light the world on fire. We forced a turnover in the clutch also. Forcing that fumble down late in the 4th quarter was huge to stop the momentum. Kendall Reyes, Corey Liuget and Jarret Johnson all picked up sacks in the game also.

Nice team performance by the Chargers. Big time win for the team.

nice win bolts! i think we need to seriously consider not returning kickoffs…6 out of 10 returns result in holding penalty, thus ball at about the 10 yd line. no bueno. also awesome game by harris, shutting down d. ware no small task…that guy’s a lot better than anyone realizes or gives credit to…not to mention becton and troutman as well for the most part

Jahleel Addae, Marshall, Schilling, Becton, Troutman, and Mike (Motha fuckin) Harris… Good show boys. Seriously it was great to be at the Q for that game and get to tell the annoying Dallas fans to SUCK IT!

Wisenhunt the Lone Star killer! I watched this game with my favorite cousins, my beautiful wife, and an old school friend from my teenager years. My Bro rented the executive suite at The Aria and oh how sweet it was! Cousins are Cowboy fans and it was great that our Bolts could pick up this W in a must win game. Character building is what is happening in Chargers Country as the next man up attitude took center stage. Cowboys came in hot from last week’s thrashing of the Rams then went crashing as our Bolts had a coming out party in the perfect game to do it in. HAPPY PAPPY! BOLT UP !!!!

Hey, they are reporting on NFL Network that Freeney has a torn quad and is out for the season. Man, I hope this is incorrect.

HUGE props to Mike Harris. I thought for sure that Demarcus Ware would destroy him, but quite the opposite happened. Dude should be extremely proud of himself today.
