Corey Liuget Knows How To Stop The Dallas Offense

Corey Liuget is talking big like he knows how to stop the Dallas Cowboys offense, but the Chargers defense has not been able to slow down anything this season. Jake Locker made the defense look like a high school defense.

Here is what Liuget is saying about Tony Romo and the Dallas offense:

“We know that once he’s rattled and whatnot, it’s easy to take him out of the game.”

“It’s a simple offense. They don’t do too many plays. The key is to definitely hit Romo early and try to take Romo out of the game and put the ball in [DeMarco Murray's] hands.”

Welp. How are we going to hit Romo if we can’t get to him? Saying something is different from doing it.

Maybe Liuget knows something that we don’t. Maybe Von Miller and Aldon Smith are smoking out in San Diego and they are going to suit up for the team for this weekend.

Hopefully John Pagano and the defense has things figured out. I would love for them to get on track this season.

Liuget needs to step up and have a huge game, he’s our stud d-linemen and needs to play like it, Freeney too, It’s cool that he gets close to the QB but if it’s close 98% of the time and the play go down field it didn’t really matter how close he was to the QB, Makes some freakin sacks already lol. I’d hate to think we aren’t going to have a decent pass rush til Melvin gets back.

Did Pagano tell him that? The same guy that ran a double OLB & Mike blitz with man coverage so theirs no safety coverage deep during a 3rd and long. Ya I don’t trust out D to win us any game right now, the lions exposed Pagano 2 years ago, and I’m surprised its taken this long for teams to attack us the way they are now

Nice reference dude. That Lions game was a disaster.

Finally! Someone spoke out of turn. Now hopefully this puts pressure, in Charger Park (Pagano), to make some changes to how the Chargers do things, specifically on finishing games. Now with that said, if what Pags has been doing is what has kept the Chargers from being blown out, then Kudos to him. Getting some help of Defense should give the Chargers more options. Regardless of who plays, what we did see looks very conservative and more structured to not lose, instead of winning a game.

Didn’t he say that about Tennessee last week? I just don’t trust Pags. this game will tell us a lot more about our DC. Hope they pull this one off…GO BOLTZ!!

Way to fire up the Cowboys Corey! Just the motivation they need. Brilliant! I’m sure they’ll continue to move you around like a pawn on a chess board like every other team this season. Don’t the coaches tell them to just shut it?

  • Bill Nichols

I know close only counts in, well, you know, the horse shoes, and hand grenades, BS. But you gotta admit, we have been in every damn game, and actually in the drivers seat, most of each game. So, we’re “close”. Yeah, yeah. But still, you would think, if you listened to all of the talking heads pre-season, that we would’ve been smoked out in the first half of each game thus far. I’m not giving up. I think we are (here goes that phrase again) closer than we think, to being able to dominate some pretty damn good teams. TT, we need you to find us one more chess piece, and MM, we need you to kick Pagano’s ass into coaching the kind of defense you need to get us convincing “W’s”, and allow our offense to methodically pull the score out of reach. Close, very close….. Bolt Up!!

Mannnn we should pass rush with 3DT’s & Freeney @DE, that would be sack city

  • W1llz

I’m glad someone knows how to stop their offense. Maybe Corey could clue Pagano in on this information.
