Chargers Offensive Line Hurting Before Cowboys Game

The San Diego Chargers offensive line is hurting big time before the game against the Dallas Cowboys. The team started out the game against the Titans without RT D.J. Fluker and ended the game with 3 subs on the line and the right guard moved over to right tackle.

Coming into practice on Wednesday, Fluker returned to practice, but the team had Chad Rinehart, Jeromey Clary and King Dunlap missing. Nick Hardwick was limited in practice as well. That is one MASH unit of an offensive line.

The Chargers could have a sub starting at left tackle, left guard and right guard on Sunday against the Cowboys. Philip Rivers could be running for his life or the guys can step up and make some plays.

Philip may need to get the ball out quicker with all those guys missing. Danny Woodhead may have a million catches by the end of the game.

Hopefully a few of the guys are ready to play come Sunday. Rinehart is already listed as out, hopefully Clary and Dunlap can go.

Ernie, your not startin’ up the panic bus are you? You do know that is where the pitch forks and torches are stored?

Where was Clarey’s injury confirmed? These dudes if 3 subs start are going to need a motivational speech from Ray Lewis (even if it makes no sense) gotta have these guys fired up. In most cases 1 or 2 guys would step up and have a big game and prove them selves worthy of being a NFL backup but I’m not sure if we are going to see anything like that.

What record do you think we finish with if we loose? 1-3 would be a tough start and put at in the basement with some sorry ass teams.

Seriously doubt Clary will play, he broke his clavicle didn’t he?

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

i guess the official injury report says injured clavicle… what other injury is there to a clavicle tho?

      • boltingindiego

it could be a bruise of the bone which would also suck but better than a break.

        • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

i guess… he did play through it though on Sunday…. right?

      • Brandon Reisinger

Saying on 1360 this morning that it was broken and he played throw almost the whole Titans game with it broken in excruciating pain cause of the other injuries to the O-line. Probably didn’t say anything to the training staff till after the game. Tough son of a bitch!

that is one thing i will not complain about with Clary… he will go hard all the time

          • Brandon Reisinger

For sure! He’s been getting all kinds of praise around Chargers park i guess. Hopefully it inspires some other guys to step up!

I wonder why it’s taking so long to clear Dunlap of his concussion? I know each case is different but Pryor has already been cleared to practice for the Faiders.

Fluker got a concussion on a Wednesday and had to miss the game…. wondering the same t

      • shayaaa

Yeah, but Dunlap got a concussion last Sunday not during the week so hopefully the extra days help.

I just thought about this. How does the tallest LT in the league allow guys that are 6’3″ to 6’6″ get that close to his head?
