Malcom Floyd Injury Status

It sounds like Malcom Floyd is getting better. We could use him. There still is no timetable on when he will return, but things are looking better a week after the injury:

“He’s getting better,” McCoy said. “You guys will laugh when I say this, but he’s taking it day by day to kind of just get back to where he needs to be.

“I’m not going to set a timetable on it right now today. He’s going to be in. I’m going to sit with the doctors again this afternoon, and kind of figure out exactly where he’s at, and see where we’re at moving forward.”

It would have been nice to have Floyd in the game this last weekend. It is nice to have any of our players available when we can. The offense was still able to move the ball, but there were times where things stalled. Defense is more the concern at this point.

Sure would be nice to have him against Dallas, but better they don’t rush him. That was a nasty hit. Get well brother.

3 catches between Keenan Allen and Vincent Brown last week. And none of those were for more than 10 yeards. Yep, Floyd would have helped.
Here’s hoping that Keenan Allen steps it up this week!

“I’m not going to set a timetable on it right now today.” HAHAHAHAHA, that is such a change from what I expected. Let that neck heal!! Go fishing and stay off the golf course!

As long as someone else casts his line… take no chances.

Don’t rush it Malcolm. Your health is what matters.

If I read between the lines we will not be seeing him this season.

      Haha.. :)

Malcom could be in a full body cast with remotely no chance to play again this year and McCoy would say he was fine and taking it day by day. I don’t trust anything he says. I’m preparing to not have Malcom back till at least week 10. Hope I’m wrong tho.

The defense is a concern, no doubt about that but so is the injuries to the offensive line. I don’t want to have to go up against Demarcus Ware with a banged up O Line.
