Malcom Floyd Likely Out Longer Than 3 Weeks

Malcom Floyd‘s injury looked painful and he has been in a neck brace since the injury. He said that he is lucky that he is not in a wheel chair right now. There are a lot of questions about when he will be able to return and Kevin Acee responded to someone’s tweet today saying that Malcom could take longer than 3 weeks to return.

I really think that Malcom could be a candidate for the IR with designation to return. That designation is still available since Melvin Ingram is on the PUP list.

I wish Malcom the best in his recovery. We may need to look at some options to pick up in free agency for receivers though. It might be some time till we get our number 1 receiver back on the field. Hopefully the rest of the guys on the roster can step in and make plays.

I don’t care how long he’s out, I consider it good news he might be able to return.

Agreed, I sincerely felt bad when I saw him go down. I don’t have the same sympathy towards RM.

To be honest when malcom went down I was more worried about him as a person then a player of course it’s dissapointing but he could have been in a wheel chair… I said a prayer for him .. God answered

Dood… you took the words right outta my mouth. Time for the Keenan & V-Brown show!!! Whoop Whoop!!! Dang I am gonna miss M80 this season though.. he was on FIRE before he got hurt.. I was so excited for him & us… ah well.

I’ll plan for him to be back for the ‘Skins game. Really hope he isn’t out longer than that. The second half of the season is the harder part of the schedule.

I hope TT is exploring options as we speak. cuz we need a #1 Wideout.

I was hoping for better news on Malcom but in truth, everyone here is right, the fact that he wasn’t injured more seriously is a Godsend. The man get’s injured and always comes back fearless. Love that guy! Get better Malcom.
