Manti Te’o In Pads And Practicing

Aug 8, 2013; San Diego, CA, USA; San Diego Chargers linebacker Manti Te

Manti Te’o is out on the field in pads and is practicing. Can’t wait to see him on the field in the middle of our defense making plays. In the two games that he has missed so far, we have had 2 different starting linebackers in the middle.

Bront Bird got the first start in week 1 and Reggie Walker got the start in week 2. Hopefully we will see a different middle backer manning the middle for the Chargers in week 3 by the name of Manti Te’o.

The defense is hurting in the middle right now also. Donald Butler was injured in the game against the Philadelphia Eagles and is not practicing today. It would be really tough for the defense to be missing both their starting middle backers against Chris Johnson and the Tennessee Titans.

We should know more about Donald Butler’s injury later today.

Last thing we need is Walker and Bird starting together, Can’t wait to see Manti out there hopefully this weekend. I also hope Butler is ok and can go Sunday as well.

I think Butler will be fine with some rest. But we’ve heard that before…..

Stoked Te’o is back in pads…

Oh great googly moogaly… Bird and Walker… Unless its Walker, Texas ranger – Chuck Norris, that could be trouble!

    We NEED Butler!!!
    Get healthy fellow Dawg!

I was going to bring the sarcasm on this, but I don’t want to shit on anyone’s excitement. I hope he plays well, and that’s all I will say.

… I was so happy to see manti practicing then to see butler hurt… Uh ohhhhh

  • Peter Thompson

Hopefully, he goes postal out there, after all the pent up emotion of sitting on the sideline. But, I will just be happy with a solid performance. Let’s do this!!!

  • Gunnar Martin

    Well it’s about time Te’o!!

Now go get yourself in shape.

YODALE! They both will be fine. Butler is not missing the game and Te’o will be ready for Dallas. Wouldn’t rush him to play the Titans.
