ALL of The Experts Are Picking The Eagles To Beat The Chargers

It doesn’t seem like we are a big favorite from the “experts” over at ESPN. Check out their picks for this week:

Get off of that Philadelphia Eagles jock! Everyone is riding on the new craze right now. Chip Kelly has everyone falling in love with that fast-moving offense and aggressive defense. They knocked out the Washington Redskins already and now are looking to knock out the San Diego Chargers.

There is a reason we play these games! The Chargers will not go down quietly. Philip Rivers will be looking to get that offense going again against the Eagles defense and he better be prepared to put up a ton of points this weekend. If he wants all the haters to jump off his back, then this is his time to step up and punch a top team in the face and take a victory. Apparently the Eagles are a top team now. They are getting recognition around the league, so knocking them down would bring a little attention out to little San Diego. Wouldn’t mind getting some of that attention.

I won’t say that I am predicting a victory for the Chargers in this game either, but I do think we can pull it off. Like before, nothing surprises me with this team. We could knock out a top team without any issues OR we could get blown the heck out. We just have no consistency.

What are your predictions for this weekend.

I say it will be close but Bolts won’t pull it off. 31-24 Eagles. I’d like to brag and say 34-17 Chargers but that’s being unrealistic. Guess I still have a bad taste in my mouth from Monday. Maybe the Bolts will prove myself and the experts wrong.

I am hoping the Bolts have that same bad taste in their mouth and come out with some fire

That would be bitter sweet. To many people are on Chip and the Eagles nutz!

Rob, I know where you’re coming from and I totally agree with your logic. However, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Chargers punch them in the mouth. The Chargers will come into this game pissed off and the Eagles may come in overconfident. I’m hoping that’s the difference!

Fuck Eastern Sports Preferred Network. They are one of the MOST biased in sports talks. Never pay any attention to those clowns.

Crap. We weren’t sup-post to win the Houston game either – shoulda of – almost did.
This game will be a defining moment for our season. I believe we do it.
I like the idea of knocking the snot bubbles out of anyone wearing green and punching our ticket for this year’s SB like the past three SB winners did.
We have a good team – I want them to show up this week and be a great team.
    Go Bolts

Chargers take it because they can. Battle of the rookie head coaches.

Lol your preaching to the quire here. I still got 10 wins, I’m just looking for #1. I’m still not afraid to stand up and say
my team will win this game, even if I’m wrong. Any given Sunday Ernie…..

    Will see.

After last week I’m not making predictions.
To win in the NFL you have to be able to finish games.

Too early to tell. We have 2 new coaching staffs and the Eagles are likely a bit ahead of the curve coming into game 2. Then again, they played against a QB that hadn’t had game action since late last year. The Eagles took advantage of a rusty RGIII. I’m hoping the Eagles are a bit too full of themselves. The Chargers, on the other hand, have a lot to prove. Especially the D-Line who didn’t play up to expectations. After week 1, our coaching staff has a really good idea of what we have and I expect they are doing lot’s of coaching this week to fix what we saw last week. It’s not going to come all at once but I expect we will see some improvement on our side..

Short week, the opposition, new coaching, mobile QB’s & last weeks performances, you can see how the experts all picked the Eagles. If the Bolts continue to play poorly in the second half of the games, perhaps the 6-10 predictions will prevail. Regardless of being a fan you must be realistic.

I’m just really nervous, Liuget might not even play

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

      what? he should play

The prediction is that it will be a blow out. One analyst predicts that the Eagles will score 60 points. Okay, that was Michael Irvin and hardly an expert. If that score gets anywhere close to that and we lose, one of these coaches should be fired in the morning.
