Week 1: Open Thread… Football Starts

Our San Diego Chargers won’t play until tomorrow, so all those nerves can take a rest today. We won’t be throwing things around and jumping for joy until tomorrow night. Today, we can sit back and relax while the rest of the teams around the league beat up on each other. Hopefully the other AFC West teams can do worse than Denver did to start out their season. We don’t need to see any more wins from anyone else in our division.

You better bet I will be rooting for the Jacksonville Jaguars to beat the Kansas City Chiefs. You better bet I will be rooting for the Indianapolis Colts to beat the Oakland Raiders.

If the jags beat KC I don’t think we have much to worry about haha

    • boltingindiego

that would be pretty sad if the jags beat the chiefs.

  • rickochey

    Jags need Tebow

  • joerockt

I’ll take the over on Geno Smith throwing 3 INT’s

  • Gunnar Martin

Man AP just couldn’t wait to get on the field again, could he? 78 yard TD on his first carry. Sheesh…

      Hahahahahahaha… Dang son

  • Alex Pitrofsky

    I think there’s been 4 safeties today

    • Gunnar Martin

      #insane

That Titans one was the saddest though. Poor guy.

  • Lee

Terrell Pryor looks like Tim tebow 2.0 out there. Sure he can run but he can’t hit an open receiver to save his life

    • boltingindiego

its throwing motions and being a more of a runner than a passer where you can get by in high school and college. But it catches up too you in the pros if you don’t improve.

    • Gunnar Martin

Teddy Bridgewater sweepstakes for the Faiders

      • boltingindiego

as a boltz fan i would hate that idea cuz i think bridge is gonan be pretty good int he pros.

        • Gunnar Martin

Yeah. Just the nature of the draft though. You suck, you get first choice on the best players coming out of college. Either gonna be him or Clowney, so take your pick.

Gotta go QB, I would think.

          • Gunnar Martin

That’s what you would think, but remember, this is the Raiders we’re talking about here ;)

          • boltingindiego

with what would be pryor as qb i would take clowney

      • Jordan

Bridgewater or manziel, then we take mccarron lol

  • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

It always cracks me up when they summarize how many QB’s & coaches the Raiders have been through recently. And they still suck.

Anyone see that old man official get taken out by Pryor on the sideline? I can hear his wife now “YOU’RE RETIRING!!!!”.. hahahaha… glad he’s ok. His head hit the ground & everything.. he looked like he had a sense of humor about it. I have to confess that I rewinded it for my wife, and we busted up… I feel pretty guilty now = /

  • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

Wow.. Clay MaTThews taking out Kaepernick was cray cray!

  • Jordan

Should we be worried about the raiders?

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

Meh… Need to be more worried about what we do

    • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

Pryor is slippery, ain’t he? The moral of that story…is don’t overlook your opponent (Raiders), and finish games (Colts).
